The cashiers and the staff seem to be inexperienced and not well trained. The food turns out OK, but I have had some orders not matching my order. The cashier (order taker) need to be more professional. On one of my visits, the price on the receipt was 30 cents more than what was on the board "menu". When I inquired about it, the cashier said "the price on the board has not yet being updated". Considering the lack of professionalism of the cashier, I let it go - not worth arguing about 30 cents.
Stopped at the mall to pick up a few things. My friend and I decided to eat in food court. She had never eaten at Charley’s Cheesesteaks. I bragged them up. We both ordered a small Philly cheesesteak combo. She had the fiesta fries. I should have known we were in trouble when the kid ringing could not remember our drinks. He asked THREE times. My friend wanted iced tea, but the machine was out of order. The place looked dirty. My friend was going to clean the outer counter while we waited. The napkin holder was empty. We told the man ringing up the orders and he went and gave us some paper towels. The man cooking kept taking his hat off and running his hand through his hair. I noticed that he was making one steak and one chicken. I told him that we had 2 steaks. He boxed them anyways. My friend ended up taking the chicken. Her fiesta fries had cheese and ranch squirted on them. Nothing like the pic. The food was disgusting. SO disappointed. I will never eat at that location again!
I hate leaving 1 star reviews but this is to let the owner know why we didn't eat here. We walked up and the counter looked dirty. But the worst part is the teenager behind the counter on her iPhone plugged into the outlet above her head never made eye contact with us so we walk away and purchased from another spot in the food court. This is at 6:45pm on March 29th. If you can't correct these issues your location will certainly fail.
I love a stop at Charley's....but not today. A very dirty counter and restaurant. No iced tea available. Had to read back my receipt to get fries. Not a fan of this location.
Charleys Cheesesteaks at Tyrone Square in St. Petersburg is a well managed Charleys that is a great place to get delicious sandwiches and fries that are fresh and delicious. I like being able to see everything being made in front of you. The staff here is very friendly and efficient at getting everything together for your order.
If you like Charlie’s, great, me too, but this location is not the one you’re going for a fast and good meal. Customer service is a 0. They don’t greet you and take FOREVER to make a sandwich.
Just canceled my order..rude staff and manager, disgusting working area!!! Ordered large combo and the lady with manager tag on her , she gave me medium size drink and told her that my order is large combo she said no your ordered is regular size and I showed her the receipt with large combo size in it, and she didn't apologize and started giving me an attitude. Is this lady who should represent your restaurant!!
If I could give this establishment a negative star I certainly would. I was spoken to by an employee as if I were less than human. All for asking for silverware to go with my cheese fries and a bag to put my fries into. I understand if they don't have those items. That's ok. What's not ok is being spoken to in a hostile, vulgar manner by an employee Ata restaurant I normally eat at on my lunch break. Not anymore. I recommend everyone go somewhere else. Don't give this place your business unless you like being spoken to like you're a dog.
Stopped at the mall for a quick lunch. This place is delicious. Fries come with bacon also, I dont eat bacon. Lemonade is indeed fresh lemonade. SO GOOD‼
Unfortunately this place doesn’t deserve any stars. Spent over 20 plus years in the restaurant business. This is the horrible. Manager rude, girl sitting down another guy making the food, he was fine. All the manager could say to another customer was my bad.Really you call that customer service.Better off just shutting that store down. Disgusting..
