I’ll start with the positive. The staff was very nice and the pizza was ok, not good, but edible. But this place could use a visit from Robert Irvine from the restaurant rescue show. I ordered garlic knots and some of them were so hard that I could break a tooth. The other garlic knots just weren’t good. You want good garlic knots the way they’re supposed to be, go to Toby’s Little Italy on 49th St N. I also ordered the chicken Parmesan entree and I got about 5 lbs of spaghetti, sauce and terrible chicken parm! I think they pulled it out of the freezer store bought. It was rubbery and tough, pretty much inedible. Get outa here! I hope these owners can get it together. Too many other options out here to waste money on this stuff as it is now.
Great delivery 'Italian'. Pizza is NY style terrific. Salads are always fresh and crisp and feed four (large). We appreciate the staff and our usual driver, Sean. ☆☆☆☆☆
Not helpful management is a joke serves old inedible food
Superior experience in every way. Delivered by a friendly person who arrived before guaranteed time. Thin crust 'Central Special' was perfect and passed my husband's next day test, 'great cold pizza'. The Greek and Antipasto salads were crisp and fresh, portions so big they lasted three days. Highly recommended.
Worst pizza we've ever had! Absolutely no sauce and no flavor. Do not recommend.
Good restaurant. They just don’t answer the phone, leave it off the hook so that it rings busy during dinner hours which forces you to use the slices app. I don’t use apps so it costs them business each time they don’t answer the phone. Several times I have gone in and mentioned it and they laugh. Not cool.
Really good food. But got a pizza last night and it wasn't as good a it has been in the past. Anyway I still recommend trying them out. Great staff and experience.
Truthfully this is arguably the best pizza spot in the city. Im a firm believer that these hole in the wall mom and pop business make the best food. Cooked to order.. great deals and HUGE slices. Their lunch special is 2 BIG slices and a drink for about 6 bucks. I finished one slice today on my lunch break and saved the other for later lol theybalso have freshly made cold cuts.. subs.. steak and cheese... the menu is endless. What I love just as much as the the quality of the food is the prices. You can LITERALLY take $10 in there and eat like a king. I eat here every time I'm in the area
Great pizza and subs along with salads.Tonight was the first time my girlfriend and I ordered from Central Pizza and Subs, and we were completely satisfied with our order. Mike (the owner) and his help are on top of their game when it comes to pizza, subs, and salads.I myself had a Roastbeef sub. ....delicious! Also I had one slice of pepperoni pizza (they sale by the slice also) just to try their pizza, and it was delicious. It's almost what I would refer to as "New York" style pizza. Slices are very big, couldn't see myself having more than two slices for lunch. .....I wouldn't be able to function after enjoying the slices for lunch, I'd be so full.....My girlfriend had the chef salad which she couldn't stop saying how good it was while eating.There was ample meat on her salad where as a lot of other pizza joints will be greedy when it comes to the meats and cheese.Anyway, we found ourselves a new local favorite pizza joint. Looking forward to enjoying other items on their menu.They have a plethora of different subs and sandwiches. Multiple choices of specialty and "premium" pizzas. Along with ample choices of Italian baked and "Premium" dinner plates.I myself don't post many reviews but Mike and his help have a good thing going.Kudos to you Mike, kudos.Thanks again and it was a pleasure meeting you.
We literally just ordered our food from them got a large 2 topping pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms and the philly cheesesteak that cheese on the Philly was barely melted and cold. The pizza the dough is not even cooked all the way through the pepperoni's you can tell are still cold the mushrooms are not even cooked their raw mushrooms on top of the cold pizza. When we called them they said that they can give us a $5 credit or bring the food back in and they can rewarm it for us But would not give us a refund.
