Great food. But hard to catch them when they open
The ribs, greens and macaroni and cheese are on point but for the price, compared to other places, the portions are small. It's enough food but I always feel like they're a bit stingy. It was the same before the pandemic so they lose a star for value.
I am not the type that post reviews also I am not from Florida. I was looking for a good BBQ place. I happen to stop at CBO's old time Smokehouse. The place that I was going had beef ribs. CBO's had them also. I tried one and MAN IT WAS GOOD!!!. I got a half slap of Pork for my moms and she loved it also. While I was there I noticed more and more people pulling up. Whoever is reading this i want You to Know. You can't go wrong with CBO'S. They next time I come to St.Pete I will stopping at CBO'S.
EXCELLENT BBQ!!!! I tried this place for the first time and wanted to try a small variety of things, so I ordered a rib dinner with baked beans and mac-n-cheese, half a chicken, and some collard greens and more mac (since the sweet potatoes were sold out). I was immediately impressed from the moment I took my first bite of the ribs and the chicken and knew that this would be my go-to place for bbq. They were very generous with the bbq sauce, which was the perfect mix of smoky/tangy with a nice kick, and I was very pleased with all of the homemade sides, especially the baked beans, which were easily some of the best I've ever had in my life! If you are looking for great quality bbq (that possibly rivals your uncle's famous bbq that you enjoy every year at the family reunion lol), this is the place to go!!!! Great food, service, and prices. You will not be disappointed.
Fall off the bone, sanitary settings for a mobile cuisine, always hot never "warm"!!

Was introduced to the ribs by my cousin the fiancé of the cook, ribs were yummy. Would try them again. Thumbs up!
