While I've dined at this location many times in the past, I was extremely discouraged with my most recent visit as I was called by the restaurant the day prior to our reservation asking if we were still interested and moving inside, to which I confirmed, but then 30 minutes before the actual reservation I was called again stating we'd lost the inside table and that we were to be seated outside again so did I want to cancel. Being that this was for my husbands birthday and was reserved 5 days prior, I kept the reservation as we only had 30 minutes notice of the change. Upon arrival I spoke to the staff and while apologetic, nothing could be done. Service overall was fine and everyone enjoyed their meals, however myself and 2 others in our group ordered the scallops which only came with 4 medium scallops, which for $34 was highly disappointing.

Place wasn't busy but didn't allow us to sit until our entire party arrived. We hoped to order apps during that time while everyone arrived. Waited almost 40 minutes for our food to arrive and it wasn't bad just nothing that we would be able to praise about.

Beck was amazing! We had so much fun celebrating the completion of my doctoral journey! The cauliflower bleu soup was outstanding! We will definitely return!

The food was very under average for a place of this stature. Disappointed in the meals. I would not recommend this place for the food. Recommend for drinks and roof top bar.

Had exceptional service at the Birch & Vine and the food and cocktails were very good. The only downside is the noise level - the restaurant is very loud even when not every table is full. The restaurant is not built to reduce noise, so may not be a great location for a first date.

CJ was the best server! He made my 70th birthday so memorable. CJ knows his menu selections. He’s so kind and loves doing his best to make your evening special. Your food is absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection. I’ll be back. Thanks!

We came here for my birthday dinner and had reservations. Despite the Google reviews, we decided to give it a chance. We ordered the pasta and made it very clear that we wanted the pasta Al dente. I was with my boyfriend from Italy and family in town from Greece. The food arrived and the salmon was over cooked. The worst part is that the pasta came extremely over cooked. It was over cooked even if Al dente was not a request. It was disgusting as the pasta noodles basically disintegrated in your mouth. We sent it back explaining the issue. The manager came out with another one despite our refusal for them to make it again. The server told them that we thought the pasta was not cooked enough. I don’t understand how he interpreted our complaint to be undercooked when we requested Al dente. They said they cooked the pasta longer the second time. Again, we sent it back saying we just wanted Al dente. Not over cooked. I didn’t realize it would be such an ordeal for a restaurant trying to position themselves as a premium restaurant. If you can’t execute Al dente then you have no business serving pasta for such an extremely high price. I would stay away if you are sensitive to over cooked fish and pasta. Huge disappointment and waste of money. We ended up going home and making ourselves a super late dinner

We came to the birch to celebrate a friends birthday and it was was just okay. Our food took over an hour to show up and we had gotten there before it had gotten busy. Also one of our meals was COLD…probably had been sitting there for an hour…I told the waiter about the situation and he asked if I wanted to talk to the manager and I said sure but the manager never showed up. I also let the staff know via OpenTable that we were there for her birthday and I had assumed they were going do something special for us like they did last year for my friend birthday but nothing ever happened…not very impressed with the service this go around.

This was at least our eighth time dining there. Food is always excellent and we have our favorites we order routinely. The service this time was very disappointing. Never served bread as promised, salads served without silverware and our entrees arrived a half hour after we completed the salads. Other guests arriving after us had their entrees served before us. Server was not very attentive, felt ignored.

Our server Vedron (?)was excellent and very attentive. Great sense of humor too! Wine selection is fabulous. Great GF options…thank you!
