Very glad we stopped by to check out this hidden gem! Love the southern food and fantastic customer service!We each ordered something different - we tried fried gizzard, ribs, Manor Slammer, and pulled pork sandwich with fried okra, mac n cheese, collard greens, corn bread, and cheese fries. All very tasty!Will be back again soon. Definitely recommend giving this place a try if you like southern food.
I will never get BBQ anywhere else now that I’ve found Granny’s. BBQ is my favorite food and for years I’ve been stuck with mediocre versions of it from chains and other nearby establishments. Finding Granny’s has been such a gem because it’s hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had. My husband is picky with places, and even for him this place just takes ALL the cakes. The ribs are insane. Large, full of meat, never dry, and the rub is so phenomenal you don’t even need sauce. We’ve had the ribs, pulled pork & brisket, the chicken and a few of the different sides… all of it blew us out of the water. SO MUCH FLAVOR. I’m even a stickler about sweet tea and theirs is somehow amazing as well. Everytime we stop in we are greeted so warmly by the staff and owner. The girl working the register and taking our orders is always so incredibly sweet, and the owner treats us like long time friends. The portions are so big I’m able to save some for lunch the next day. Im literally typing this at night dreaming about my leftovers for tomorrow! I can’t stress enough how wonderful Granny’s is. From the food, to the staff, to the cozy small town BBQ smokehouse feel, perfection doesn’t begin to explain it. Even my kids ate every bite and keep asking to go back! So happy to have somewhere so awesome and close by to eat awesome BBQ. It’s definitely hard not to go every night for dinner! Highly Recommend!
My husband and I visited this spot after someone recommended it. When we arrived, we were taken aback by the aesthetics of the restaurant (its an older home converted to a restaurant). I like the layout of the restaurant. There’s an area you can sit and look outside. It seems like that area use to be the front porch. That’s where we sat, it was really cool. The ambience was all southern, BBQ joint. From the friendly vibes to the old school wall fan.Now on to the menu/food. The menu had a variety of combinations. I got brisket, sweet potatoes fries, and baked beans. My husband got brisket, fried okra and macaroni & cheese. Texas toast was included with both meals. I personally liked the plates the good was served on, I thought it was a unique touch. So, every single item on both plates were delicious. The brisket was seasoned and smoked just right, we had no complaints. Oh we also had their sweet tea, that too was good. After we were done, my husband had to compliment the chef ?. Overall, I’d recommend this joint to anyone looking for some delicious southern BBQ/comfort food.
Excellent food and service. It was my FIRST time here and even in the area. Perfect soul food, you could really tell by the flavor in the greens that they know what they’re doing. The chicken literally fell off the bone ?? I had the flaming honey garlic flavor which had the right amount of spice. The coleslaw was perfect, everything you look for in good slaw. The cheerwine soda was REALLY good, I don’t know where they get it from but MAN ?. I will definitely be stopping by more often
Blown Away!!! Hi friends!!! It's me the dude the just got the granddaddy's package to go.. If anyone is reading this, please pay attention!!! THIS is the place for BBQ in St Cloud.. We were greeted by no less that 2 people as soon as we entered the restaurant... It was not the obligatory "hi.... welcome"... It was a genuine enthusiastic, "Hi!! Welcome!!". The attitude immediately sold us on this restaurant. The young lady at the register and the gentleman, I believe the owner, engaged in some small talk about the menu and helped navigate to the items we wanted to order. Incredible service thus far.. The restaurant is small and can definitely get crowded easily..so they request that you wait in your vehicle or outside when waiting for your Togo order ..no issue there Maybe 8 or 10min later our friend that was the cashier brought the food to our vehicle with a huge smile and thanked us for coming. We got the ribs, pulled pork, brisket and chicken with baked beans, Mac daddy and cheese and corn nuggets... I hate corn nuggets! I am ordering THESE again!! Crispy outside, sweet, creamy, corny inside. Ribs are huge and meaty...like the ones Fred Flintstone got that turned his car over.... The chicken, well smoked, nice flavorful crisp skin, the pulled pork and brisket were equally as incredible. Baked beans, kinda sweet kinda smokey .. without question, the absolute best in the area! Mac and cheese, creamy, gooey packed with flavor also we got 4 pieces of grilled Texas toast... The service, the portions, the quality of food were perfection! We all know the other two places in town and I won't knock them, they are good... Good is for the other folks, THESE folks are great!! Please please visit Granny's... You won't be disappointed by the quality of service or their food. You have gained new friends today, as well as new customers.. Have a fabulous weekend and you will take my money again soon
Came into town from Detroit, stopped by for lunch on our way through. The staff and owner were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing! Lots of great flavor, and good sized portions! Definitely happy we stopped!
Found this gem visiting family. Best BBQ I've ever had. The ribs were amazing and the portions were generous... I was so excited I forgot the before picture but this is what was left. Definitely go out of your way to sit down for a meal and not just takeout. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel like family.
OMG .. after years of searching for ‘good’ barbecue in Orlando area finally found it. Granny Southern smokehouse is a hidden gem. Small unique with a big bang for the food. Even if you don’t like smoke meat try this place. You will be impressed and will not be disappointed. This place is not the traditional smoke with the god awful smell and taste …outstanding favor. I don’t normally write good reviews! To get 5 stars on my review scale is next to impossible this is how much I enjoyed his food I actually gave him 5 stars.
Every time, I come in to eat, I'm greeted with a smile. The staff is very friendly, patient and helpful if you need help with ordering food. The BBQ is by far the best in town. I love their sides too. You can't go wrong with Fried Oreos as a dessert. That is delicious too.
Wow. This place looked good from the photos but I wasn’t prepared to find excellent bbq in St Cloud, FL. Amazing food, great service! The only thing I’d change is hotter “hot” bbq sauce. Definitely recommend the pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and the collard greens (to die for)!
