Well…to start with no talked with us for a couple of minutes after we walked in, then they handled us three dirty (yes, they haven’t cleaned the food and oil from the menus) menus. We decided to walk out since we doubt that the oysters would be cleaner than the menus.A shame. Hope this place improves.
This is a restaurant in transition run by a mom and her sons. If you go sit in the banquet hall, alone, in the dark, while everyone is at the raw bar laughing and talking, don't leave a negative review. This is an oyster bar that has a banquet hall. This is not the Olive Garden. The seafood is good. The beer is cold bottles. The cocktails are very good but there's a wait for them since only Mom is old enough to mix them. Really, there's a wait on everything. And while the seafood is great, the sides are not. This is a one-star Olive Garden experience and a five-star oyster bar experience. I have not attended a banquet. As Einstein said, don't judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree.My only complaint is that (at least at this point in the transition) the bar stools are cheap and uncomfortable. This could be fixed at any point. They don't seem like a permanent choice.
Man, the fried pork chop looked so amazing. Breading was nice and brown and the meat was juicy... But it had absolutely ZERO flavor. I don't even think they salted it when it came out of the fryer. Staff was really nice and friendly though so they got that going for them I guess. Such a missed opportunity for a pork chop that visually looked amazing...
Drove all the way here Saturday to eat lunch only to find out they were closed for party- nice of them to post that!! - Rude people-told me I can sit out on deck but for what- can't get anything to eat!! So we went around the corner and found Phyre Brewery and Tavern!! Awesome!!
Honestly one of the best places I’ve ever eaten at the owner is an amazing human being and it’s a family friendly environment and family owned I love the fact that It’s a personal experience every time they remember who you are when you come in and the food is truly delicious you can’t beat the deals that they have on the oysters so thank you for a great local place an awesome customer experience
Super great staff, always friendly! Great food and fun seasonal offerings. Love it! It’s a must try when visiting St Cloud!
Shepherd's Pie and Corned Beef and cabbage were excellent on this St. Patty's Day. Service was great as well!
Saint Cloud has its very own raw bar! And the oysters are as delicious as they look!! Not into oysters? Cobblestone also has a menu of other foods including seafood and prime rib. My wife had the mussel’s and I had the incredibly delicious meatloaf. Definitely worth a visit.
From seafoods, with a raw Oster bar to meatloaf an pork chops. The Osters are fresh n shucked in front of you. I opted for the meatloaf dinner. It was very good. The chocolate peanut butter truffle brownie was heavily.
Recently discovered. I got the Shepard's Pie and it was delicious. Great portion size (took some home) and quick service. Couldn't ask for more from a local spot. I'll definitely be back soon to try out their oysters.
