This place is a hole in the wall that locals go to. We love that and was happy to find it. We waited at the front to be seated for a long time … really long time and no one greeted us. Wait staff and management kept walking past us. Sign specifically said don’t seat yourself, so we didn’t. Finally a regular customer said he’d get someone. He came back and said “just sit at the bar if you don’t mind.” The staff was clearly in the weeds and hustling so we sat at bar and understood they must be short staffed. We ordered some drinks and an order of raw oysters. The raw oysters were the tiniest I’ve ever seen. The chicken wings coming out smelled and looked amazing. I almost caved even though we are now pescatarians and don’t eat meat (health reasons). Then, we ordered entrees. I had the fish tacos which were okay. My husband ordered a fish sandwich. The food was okay, but not fantastic. There again the food was better than most dive bars. There was live music and they were great. The vibe was great with locals singing along and having fun.
Went there on April 5th. Hot and dark restaurant. Burnt fried pickles. Cold fries covered in cold jar gravy and slices of unmelted American cheese. I asked the waitress if I could substitute shrimp for the fish in the tacos and she told me she couldn't because she didn't want to confuse the cook. We ended up cancelling the rest of our order and offered to pay for the appetizers and drinks and they told us not to worry about it so that was nice. They did have good sweet tea though.
We were there right at open. The server was nice but the only good thing about it was the raw oysters and fried scallops. My daughter's pasta sat in half an inch of oil, my husband's steak had no seasoning and neither did the fries. The atmosphere is dark and there was no ambient music or anything. We would recommend mango mangos instead. We spent less and the food was amazing.
This place is amazing! Live music with a dance floor! Not your hyped up place that charges outrageous for drinks! Great selection of beer and spirits! The food was so good and the prices were the best in the beach (salad, steak shrimp broccoli and fries for 19.95) wow!!! The oysters were large and fresh from the Atlantic right from St Augustine (other places in town didn’t have any local oysters and they were very small) got a dozen oysters for 14.95, even had key lime pie!! BEST beach Resturant ever!!! A must if your visiting Anastasia island beach!!
Horrible Experience!! The food was nasty. The table was sticky. Waitress was clueless. Fried seafood platter was soggy and cold. It was not cooked at the proper temperature. Disco Fries soaked with jar gravy Fries were soggy. Chicken Parmigiana had a small piece of fried chicken with fettuccine pasta and jar sauce. Chicken basket was over cooked. Caesar salad had dressing that tasted very bitter. I also had to ask the waitress on multiple times to give us silverware and napkins. Don’t recommend this place.
Several of us stopped in for a few beers after lunch. We sat at the bar, which wound up being about 3/4 full by the time we left. Definitely a dive-like place...just what we were looking for! The bartender was attentive and our glasses did not stay empty for very long. Most others at the bar enjoyed meals and everything looked and smelled great. Next time, we will have to partake in some food!

This place is amazing!! Great food and amazing employees!! So glad we found this restaurant it made our visit that much more memorable. Thank you to Haley, Felicia, Aaron, Derey and all the staff…you guys are amazing!!!
We visited with 8 people last Friday! We had to be divided because the owners said that we could not sit together because she was coming with her party! We should have left but stayed because the last time we had great dinners ! This time we ordered steaks that came out grizzly and cold! Disgusting! The food also came out slow and not together! We had to wait a long time ! The waitress was excellent but they needed more help! We will never return to this restaurant!
Stopped in on a Friday night. We had a great dinner for a very reasonable price. The atmosphere was great with live music, and the staff was attentive.
