Wow, what a great small business! Our ice cream was delicious and the service super-friendly! Our family stopped in on a Saturday night after trying Cone Heads the night before…the lack of friendliness there led me to search for another place for my large family….The St. Augustine Scoop is THE place to go! Three employees had our party of 10 in and out in no time….some places we’ve been at St. Simons had some people nearly finished eating before the last member of our family received their snack, but The Scoop is super fast! Friendliness is paramount as we were greeted immediately upon entering and good eye contact and clear communication was consistent through the experience….signs of a GREAT business! Thank you!
Very good experience. The staff was friendly and gave us samples before we chose the flavours we liked. We had chocolate; hazelnut and blueberry cheesecake ice cream.Everything was delicious. Much better than other ice cream shops from the area.Thank you, Carly and Tessa

Quaint little ice cream shop. Nice variety of ice cream choices. The highlight though is how the young ladies working the counter interacted with my family and me. Made us feel special to be there.
What a fantastic ice cream shop this is!! First, the owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Tessa and her staff make you feel welcome as soon as you enter, and it is a fun atmosphere. The ice cream, malt and milkshake options will satisfy anyone's dessert needs. Our group came here for an evening visit, and enjoyed it so much we came back the next three days. This a locally owned business that is well worth the visit!

Wow, if you see my other reviews, you will notice that I go to many ice cream shops. This one is among the top of my list. They had great flavors, good waffle cones, and super service. Definitely a wonderful choice.
I went in tonight and the girls behind the counter were very nice. The ice cream was great and the service excellent. Even better was meeting the owner, Tessa, outside. She was so pleasant to talk with but also a very astute and caring owner and businesswomen. The city is lucky to have her. Keep up the great work!
Tessa is an amazing woman running this shop, creating this ice cream, she is so nice and such an amazing human being. If you are ever in St Augustine, get your butt in here :) !
