First off, the staff was very friendly and were very attentive. Drinks stayed full and orders were quick. Burgers were good. Giant pretzel was awesome ?. Definitely will be back in to possibly try the beer selection. Bummer I was on a lunch break! ?
We've been to the press a couple of times now and the food is always great. Burgers are phenomenal, the best in St. Augustine. This time I tried the philly cheese steak with fried pickles. It was the best Philly I have ever had. I don't think this place does anything bad. Waitresses are great here as well.
Would give them 6 stars if I could. The Conquistador burger was the bomb. Filet was excellent as were the mashed taters. This place is a little out of the way from the downtown stuff (it is on the East end of a shopping mall) but so worth the visit.
I actually give them a 4.8 Stars , I would have given them 5 but my fiance's burger while still very good and juicy according to him was not cooked medium as requested. However everything else was fantastic! The Gingered Calamari was the highlight of our meal! My burger was cooked to perfection and the White Sangria was Amazing ? The atmosphere is so relaxing. Definitely will be a return visit ??
Went to Outlet Mall.We were hungry. We don't like chains. We spotted this place and were very happily surprised with ,obviously, a pro chef being in a corner bar. Food was delicious and presentation tops! I've been involved in the neighborhood restaurant/ tavern business most of my life. These places have "cooks" unless the owner is a pro. Well done and we'll be back. Very impressed with staff also. I liked how they helped the new server ,Helen, we had. She did great. Tough business! The best of luck.
Stopped here for lunch. Limited table space (think there were 8 tables) and ample seats at the bar. Definitely a local hangout with friendly folks, The food was very good...we had the prime rib sandwich, the soup of the day which was exceptional and a couple other items. Would stop here again on our next visit
The food was pretty good, that’s it; I suppose the numerous five-star reviews got my expectations up, and so we were disappointed in the average fare. We tried the fried pickles because of reviews, too- nothing to write home about-a burger, which was good, and the chicken parm sandwich- meh. Service was indeed friendly and attentive. Maybe because there is nothing else around this not-so-scenic area of St.Augustine, it impresses people? Bottom line:meh.
Finally got to eat at the press and it was magnifico' ! We ordered to go and it was made fast and oh so fresh. Love the prime rib sandwich , came with Caesar salad that had delicious homemade dressing and the white chocolate bread pudding with Carmel drizzle and whip cream was out of this world. Me and my other half will be back to try more flavorful food and great service. Thank you chef and staff xoxo
Our friends brought us here for lunch. We read the reviews and anticipated a great meal... NOT disappointed! Three of the group had burgers and I had their chicken Parm sandwich. All were delicious! Beer and wine had an excellent selection.Service was wonderful. Thank you Barb, our server and Scott the owner for a delightful lunch experience and we will be back.
Awesome fresh fish - they bake their own buns which makes for a delicious sandwich! House made coleslaw was a hit! The bread pudding was fabulous! Friendly staff & reasonable prices. Definitely a repeat visit!
