The vibe of this place is very Florida. There was a bit of the wait, so we put our names in the list and walked down the boardwalk to a an old fishing house over the water. Inside was a small bar. The drinks were reasonably priced and the décor was very interesting. It was all old fishing equipment and décor. Once the texted us that our table was ready we decided to sit outside. There was minimal umbrellas so we unfortunately got a table without an umbrella. The food was delicious and the alligator bites where awesome. My dad and I are foodies and we had to try them and the conch fritters. They were well-seasoned, good temperature, and very tasty. If you need something to get you in the beachy mood this place is it. ANYONE WITH A FOOD ALLERGY: I made the server aware of my food allergy and they were willing to check to see what cooking oil they used and to see if there was anything with peanuts in it. They were very accommodating with my allergy. They do not se peanut oil. Anyone else with any food allergies please check with our server.

I ordered the flounder with coconut &pineapple salsa. The flounder was dry and over cooked. The pineapple salsa was not fresh, pineapples from a can and tasted like onion. My son ordered the Mac n cheese lobster. The lobster was shredded, no chunks and very little lobster or Mac n cheese. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, but it was old. I expected a lot better food. It was mediocre at best. There’s alot better restaurants in the Area.

Wew were very happy with the food and service at the Conch House restaurant. Our server was excellent and portion sizes very good. This is a fun restaurant on the water with some outdoor dining in turrets, never seen this before, pretty cool idea.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday in the middle of May and still had to wait over an hour to be seated. It was almost 1 o’clock so I thought the lunch rush would be over, huge amount of empty tables but they explained they could not use them all so that the kitchen and the wait staff would not be overwhelmed and quit! That being said once we were seated everything came out rather smoothly. The shrimp and grits was delicious with the depth of flavor and a smokiness that was perfect! Another person in our party got the fried shrimp with fries and coleslaw. It must’ve been good because nothing was offered to any of us! The staff is definitely a bit overworked but everyone was very polite and welcoming. Worth a drive if you can find it. Solid 4.5 stars! The shrimp and grits was $23, the large portion of the fried shrimp was $18. We left very full with no room for dessert!

Our server was friendly. The service was great and food ce fast. It truly exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this for atmosphere and especially for the food!

Terrible food, Arrogant People, Quite simply a Tourist Trap for Unknowing People. There are dozens of better restaurants in this town staffed by far more welcoming people.

Following a fishing charter we brought our fresh catch of vermillion snapper and trigger fish to the restaurant at the recommendation of our Captain. The process was easy and they were accommodating. We asked for our fish to cooked blackened and fried. They serve everything up family style with two sides. It was amazing. Fish was cooked to perfection. Cheesy grits, fries, Cole slaw, lobster Mac, and hush puppies were all delicious. Booking another trip next year and will definitely be back.

Loved the shrimp and artichoke bake for an appetizer. Then we had the fried shrimp and shrimp Anastasia. The fried shrimp was good lightly breaded. The shrimp Anastasia was very salty. The portions weren’t big for the price. So this is a nice place with unique seating, but the food is just average.

Overpriced. Poor service. Nice location. Good ambiance if you’re outside. We’ve come here many times over the years. Prices have skyrocketed. $15 for 6 Conch Fritters. $30 for lobster Mac & Cheese. That’s all you get. No side. No bread. $25 for Shrimp & Grits. Nothing else. Our Waiter was Kolby. Not a good Waiter. Took forever to take our order. I guess giving us plenty of time to look over the limited menu. Food came fairly fast but he couldn’t remember who ordered what in our party of 3. He split the check up wrong and took so long to pick up the cards for payment, I finally got up and took them to him. Not impressed at all. We won’t be back. Too many other good restaurants in St. Augustine who deserve our money more than this place.

What a great restaurant. The individual tables up in the air like a crows nest are wonderfully romantic. The service was great. The food arrived quickly. It was great food for lunch. We love the seafood! The view was spectacular. The breeze delightful!
