Good local seafood to be had here. There was something here to be had by all…landlubbers too. We had oysters, Dungeness crab legs, and chicken fingers. Also a decent beer selection.

Went to the restaurant to purchase clams that were advertised on their chalkboard. They said the could not sell any clams but would take our number and call us the next day when they got some. Five days later and still no call. Not very good service.

My wife and I really enjoyed dinner here. The service is awesome (thanks Summer). The food was delicious (smoked fish dip, drunken clams, oysters and shrimp and grits). We recommend. Would be 5 stars but the mixed drinks were weak.

Love how fresh everything is and how well seasoned and cooked the food is. My favorite are the steamed royal reds, oysters and clams - the best in the area! The staff are friendly which makes the whole dining experience a joy!! If you love quality seafood, I highly recommend Commander's!

The service and seafood here were excellent. The shrimp was fresh and the grouper was cooked to perfection! We had the key lime colada and it was so refreshing and delicious!

Absolutely delicious!! The atmosphere is perfect with the bay on one side and the ocean on the other. We will come back here frequently!!

Ordered shrimp and grits... $21 for a large spoon of grits and not sure what was mixed in the gravy , and 5 small shrimp.. Awful tasting and not enough for even a small kid. So disgusted. Granddaughter got chicken po boy she said was good. I sure wouldn't choose this place for seafood..

Our favorite dinner the whole week! From the service to the food to the drinks! Highly recommend the key lime colada, we had several! The crab and shrimp were plentiful and delicious! Hush puppies were great and so was the fried shrimp. The service was great and our server Summer was wonderful!

We took the advice of the girl working inside and got our food to go and headed down to the pier for a romantic date night. That is until a bunch of kids came down there also ringing the mess out of that bell down there haha. We left our 5-year-old at home on purpose ? ? oh well haha, the view was incredible and the little trail down to the beach was just beautiful. The only advice would be not to get the crab cakes, yes they were fresh, but I had shells and every single bite that were hurting my teeth... disappointed bc they were sooooo hard to eat

I’ve dined in at the Commander’s a few times but I’m only gonna go over my most recent visit on this vacation.Pros:The outdoor patio may be small but it’s relaxing and comfy. Our waitress was nice too. I had ordered the Fish sandwich with Fries and for the most part it was great! It had the perfect amount of crisp to it and the fries were decent.Cons:Nothing to note right now! This is definitely a joint I’d recommend overall! Honestly one of my favorites in the St. Augustine Beach area.
