Had early dinner with my husband Sunday, we chose to set outside by the lake, nice view, we ordered salmon dinner and salmon salad and New England clam chowder, we were surprised we got big portions, salmon just cooked right, clam chowder was delicious :) Rachel was our waitress super nice, every employee was friendly, will go back again! Thank you!
Been traveling stopped in here. Me & hubby got the 29.99 platter. We got so much food. Brought most home for next day. Great place. Cost with drinks 41.ü0 outside view was great. Saw alligator come on land eating a fish. Turtles etc
Ok where do I start.Took us 30 minutes to get a drink after we were seated for our reservation.I didn't know sitting outside meant you were forgotten. We got our food before we got our drinks so I had to order another one so I knew I had a refill. During that time we weren't offered any water. Our food game but we didn't have any silverware and had to wait and ask for that as well.I also didn't realize they made kid sized margarita's, BUT ST MARY'S DOES! picture belowThe food turned out good but the service just plain suckedI wouldn't recommend this for anyone wanting good service.
I was in town for a few days. We ended up eating here twice since nothing else around caught our eye. The crab legs are absolutely the most delicious thing on their menu. Seasoned to perfection it was soooo delicious left me wanting more. The hush puppies are just okay. The fried pickles are delicious just need a type of sauce to go with them not ranch. The boom boom shrimp really doesn't taste like boom boom shrimp but it's still tasty. The buffalo shrimp is where it's at for the shrimp. We ordered takeout since I have a newborn baby. I had ordered fish and chips and they literally sent me all my food without the fish and chips and when I called in they told me they only serve certain things on their menu on certain days. That's the not the right way to handle any situation but the food made up for it. So if your craving a specific something I recommend calling before going in. Other then that if you want yummy seafood I recommend giving them a try.
The restaurant was dark. The tables and the floors were sticky. Gave more bar like vibe than restaurant. Our food was room temperature at best when it arrived. Definitely wasn't fresh or really that appetizing. There were 5 of us and we all felt the same regarding the meal and atmosphere.
My son’s girlfriend and I ate lunch here on vacation. The staff was very friendly and Gregory, the resident gator, was a nice lunch companion. The food was really good, decently priced, and was brought out quickly.
This restaurant was recommended by our hotel as a good nearby seafood restaurant. We were not disappointed. Our server Hailee was attentive, knowledgeable and personable. The food was well prepared and tasty. As a family style restaurant the offerings were also plentiful and high quality. will come here again when visiting St. Augustine.
The waitress was great. We sat on the porch and watched the fish in the perfectly clear pond. The ducks also waved Hi. Husband's favorite is Shrimp and Grits and he was very satisfied. I had Mahi Mahi with their daily sides special (collards and field peas) which were seasoned too good to describe. We will go back again before we leave.
We stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night and were very aware that friends of the staff got a different level of service that we did. The food was okay, but nothing to shout out about, thought I will concede that portions were generous for the price.
Good seafood place had calamari appetizer, Gator tail dinner wife had scallops dinner. Good prices. Liked the coleslaw.
