Awesome bar with that hometown dive bar feel! Heather is an amazing bartender and the beers are cold and hit the spot after a lot of walking on a warm day! The bar is no longer smoking as previously mentioned so no need to avoid because of that.
Waitress was so helpful and kept up with refills. The cook brought out our food and made sure it was to our liking.
A cozy atmosphere, without feeling too touristy. Granted, there were many tourists coming in, but it seems to be less so than other places I've visited.
Great little dive bar in the heart of the tourist district on St. George Street. Cool and dark, as it should be. Friendly staff. Seems more of a place for locals and that is a good thing. We will be back!
Great atmosphere with a friendly staff of great services. No food, just drinks. We enjoyed a 3 day weekend in St Augustine and stopped in here every night.
Been going here for many years and he never had a issue. Older day lady doesn't like our particular debate and threatens to kick us out. Isn't this supposed to be a harder bar. The bar is always where I have went to vent and feel good. Noone was disrupted. No one was going to escalade a situation. The lady read it all wrong. Good service. Terrible judgment and un-American that we can't debate about any subject. I won't be back after 15 years of going in. Things change I guess
Really good food served here. Bartender was tentative to our drinks and looked to manage with the crowds after they started to pour in after we got our food. Everyone at my table was positive on the food. No fryer so their side was a bag of chips. Which we played the trade game for a little fun!
Friendly staff and owners! They have been in business for decades!Located on famous st George StreetGreat lunch [email protected] prices!Reasonably priced drinks!Norbert tuseo
When you're visiting St. Augustine, FL and touring up or down St. George's Street, and you accidentally stumble into St. George's Tavern...friend you have arrived.Sure, it's a bar with all that drinkery ambience, what us Southerners call, atmosphere. But I believe the lady barkeeper server me the best Reuben sandwich I've ever had, zesty and piled high with the most delicious corned beef you could want! Linda had a French Dip to die for.A bunch of local young uns training to work a yet unopened restaurant we're amazed that we found this treasured eatery and watering hole. Good luck to Saxon, Brooke, Victoria and the gang.Want it casual and absolutely great, visit the St George's Tavern and tell 'em La Padrino Timberlake sent you.
