This place has excellent seafood! The shrimp is so fresh and the service was good. Atmosphere is nil but who needs it when your eating great seafood!
Local restaurant with fresh tasty seafood. Sauces and dressings are made in house and are delicious. Would visit again.
We just finished our second dinner at this restaurant. We loved the early bird specials and the service was excellent both nights. We ate a lot of good seafood during the week but The Seafood Kitchen was by far our favorite and ended up costing less than the rest of our dinners.
The best seafood we have enjoyed in a very long time and so reasonably priced, the steak and shrimp were great we had enough food on the combination platter to feed three people, and we ordered it two nights in a row, will certainly go back, can’t wait!
This was my first time visiting this out of the way place. They're noted for their boil dishes. Unfortunately they were out of the lobster but my wife loves their crab. The portions were very generous but next time the lobster or shrimp. We also got the Hurricane Shrimp which was sublime. Voodoo Juice cocktail was spot on.
Ordered the special deep fried flounder. Asked if it could be broiled or fried but we’re told no, it had to be battered whole and deep fried. We were reluctant to order a whole deep fried fish with bones, but were assured it would be ok. When it arrived it was absolutely AWFUL! Completely overcooked to being burnt and completely inedible. Complained to the waitress who passed it on to the kitchen but got no response. No cook worth his salts would prepare a lovely fish like flounder in this way. Would never return! Waitress was good, hence the star.
Excellent food! Service was a little slow but they were short staffed. Server was cheerful despite being very busy. Not as expensive as Daytona.
I had the Maui and Shrimp(which can be made many ways). It was fantastic! There is also a kids menu for the little ones. I would definitely recommend this place.
Friends recommended this place to us so we went there for lunch today. There was only one other table of customers. The waitress ( who seemed to be the one in charge) never smiled, even though we were very courteous. She looked bothered…. We waited a very long time for our orders, which seemed strange because the place was almost empty. When it finally came, it was quite disappointing. Not very flavorful at all. Then after a few minutes I realized we were not given the fritters. I went up to tell her and there was no apology at all. Several minutes later we got them. They were delicious, but again, no apology. The key lime pie seemed to be missing any lime flavor…. Another two groups came in, we’re greeted warmly, with a smile, and one of those table got their food very quickly. It made us feel like because we weren’t “ regulars “ we didn’t matter. I will never understand why restaurants don’t understand that it takes so little effort to be courteous. If it had been a good experience, we would have gone back and recommended it to others.
Had a nice, reasonably priced lunch of shrimp/scallops and 2 sides. All good but avoid corn as it tasted very waterlogged. Broccoli salad and ‘slaw excellent. Perhaps they were short staffed today but we left just in time as it was mayhem around 130pm..tables not being cleaned, line up outside, guests trying to clear their own tables etc..servers stressed, not overly friendly etc but I would return. On a different day of the week
