Pretty much my happy place. Love the remodel. Good spot for kids too earlier in the day. Get a grilled cheese , a beer and have fun.
Such a fun cool place to eat, drink and play. They have a great tap list of craft beers, a good selection of arcade games, and a unique/delicious selection of grilled cheese style sandwiches. You can choose from their set menu or simply build your own. This is a must try while in St. Augustine!
We had the 4 meat and 4 cheese sandwich. It was delicious. Parking seemed to be limited unless we just didn't know where to park.
I love their menu and really enjoy this simple and yet gourmet-like concept of Sarbez' grilled sandwiches. Always a fun experience, I've been in there for lunch once a week this month!
Awesome place to enjoy a beverage and amazing grilled cheese & play some video games. Zoom back to the 80s at Sarbez!! Lots of pinball machines too and affordable draft beer!! Lots of craft beer options also...
One of our favorite places in St. A. Not as crowded as so many of the restaurants in the historic area or beachside, but close to both places. Lots of options for grilled cheese, but not much else on the menu. Hot dogs. My favorite is the caprese, my husband likes the New Sandwich. You can order one of their named sandwiches or design your own. The arcade games are a plus. The place is a little rough around the edges, on purpose I think, but cheerful, fun, good food, reasonable prices.
I'm only about a half an hour north from here and I'm gonna call this one of my new fav places in St A. We were in town for a concert at the Ampitheater and had gotten a room nearby so we could have a bunch of beers and not have to worry about driving. I'd heard about this place from some friends and figured we'd give it a shot after the show. Although I saw it when we were driving into our hotel, after the show, in the dark walking (from the other direction) we walked right past it without knowing. They don't have a ton of signage. We asked someone where it was and we were literally only like 100 feet away. Once we were inside things were fine. I really like the throwback dive bar atmosphere. They have a ton of pinball machines and arcade games. I love that stuff (i used to manage an arcade in the late 80s). The crowd was not too mellow, not to crazy....just right. The staff were cool as well. We got a couple of grilled cheeses which were super good and a perfect snack after a bunch of beers at the show (and a couple at the bar). They weren't super busy but the bartender said it may be up to 45 minutes. I have a suspicion the kitchen is tiny. They didn't take quite that long and were worth the wait. We were relaxing and having a couple of beers....not like we were looking for fast food. The next day I realized my credit card was missing. It turns out I left it there (I gave the the card to run a tab and my friend surprised me by picking up the bill and I forgot to ask for MY card back). I called the next day and the guy on the phone said "You must be John".....yep, they figured I'd be getting in touch. We popped in again to pick up my card.....and heck, may as well have 1 beer before heading home. That won't be my last beer there.
This is such a great little place! Lots of craft beers to choose from and the grilled cheese sandwiches are amazing (and the sandwich names are funny), We have always gotten great service and had fun. It's a funky, unassuming little building with loads of character. We have walked here from Old Town in good weather...just across the Bridge of Lions on the right.
literally the sign says it all. great draft selection, amazing sandwiches (I can vouch for the Mahalo Bro), and arcade games of all types. funky 80s/90s decor, amusing signage, outdoor patio.
It’s grilled cheese. It’s pinball. It’s really great grilled cheese! And allot of them. Great grilled cheese and pinball. What more is there to say if need? Super friendly staff.
