The food was great. We had the tacos (mahi was the best, grouper was good, steak was good, shrimp was basic) and the chicken with capers pasta (sub shrimp). If you get the pasta, squeeze a lemon over it for a better flavor. The service was good and quick.
The indoor part of the restaurant was gorgeous, we ate out in the upstairs deck and it was great. Oysters and fried avocado were phenomenal. It’s located right across from the beach which was nice. Would dine again!
Great food and a nice staff. We got seated really fast, had the typical FL sprinkles then had a fantastic meal. Food was wonderful the Christy “I hope I got the name right” was awesome. You’ve gotta visit this place if you get a chance.
Beautiful restaurant along with a super convenient location when you look at the surrounding area. I’m sure I can speak for most when I say the outside seating is what grabbed my attention from a far. The blue neon lights you could see from afar! The restaurants decor has a fun beach vibe. During our visit they had live music ? ongoing. It was a really nice touch. This place is very popular! Service was great! That alone gives this place three stars. Food was just okay and the lack of vegetarian options was a bit disappointing. I didn’t have much to eat besides rice, veggies, and fries. My grandmother enjoyed her shrimp, and we loved the dessert ? We didn’t have much expectations going in so we were content with our experience.
I always order the asian salmon salad. Today I tried a new drink Vitamin Sea. It was delicious I would return just to have another cocktail! Salt life that’s always been a great place to have dinner or drinks or both
Sushi was lovely, drinks cold and wet! We always eat on the top deck to look out over the beach. Damn the hotel. The wait time was the longest we’ve ever had to, but completely worth it.
Our 3rd year in a row on vacation have eaten dinner at Salt Life and last week mid afternoon. For the last 2 years we had our family of 8 eating dinner and were told "The kitchen has a delay" both times waited over an hour. Last week it was only my husband and I and we ordered an appetizer and 2 sandwiches. We were served our sandwiches before our appetizer and were told the same excuse. "Sorry, we have a kitchen delay." I figured at a slower time of the day this restaurant would have better timing on delivering food orders. I guess I was wrong. Management has to step it up a notch with paying customers expectations.
We were passing through town on our way to south Florida and stopped for supper. I chose the Boca Grouper dinner and my husband had the Hawaiian Bowl. Absolutely fabulous!! Best grouper I have ever eaten. The Hawaiian fried rice was excellent too! It was so good that we returned the next day for lunch and I ordered the very same thing. Again, absolutely the best grouper ever!
We have ALL good things to say about this place! I wish I would remember the name of the hostess that helped us with t-shirts downstairs - she was awesome. We were looking through shirts and couldn’t find what we needed. She went out of her way to get a stool and climbed to look into cabinets for us. She was so helpful, kind and sweet. We ordered cocktails from the downstairs bar while we waited to be seated and they were delicious. We were seated upstairs and had a beautiful view of the ocean. Our server, Grace, was excellent! She gave us great suggestions on the menu, she was very attentive and so sweet. We had the calamari appetizer, tacos and 2 poke bowls. The food came out timely, perfect temperature and everything tasted excellent. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered takeout the next night and our food was just as delicious when we got it back to our condo. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely dine here again if I am in this area.
Dined here for the first time at the end of June. Sat upstairs with great views! Loved the food and our server Julia was outstanding. Would recommend!
