Very good sushi! Excellent service. Wasn’t too crowded when we went.
Food was.good. a lot of eggs and veggies in the fried rice. Lighting made it hard to read the menu. Very nice people. Lots of.choices. very tasty filling. I would recommend but if you can't see well use a flash light on your phone.
Server didn’t say 18% tip was added to bill. Never had a tip automatically added like this when there were only two of us. Unintentionally added another regular tip on the tip line of the receipt. Restaurant is located in a not nice area and had only a few customers. Wine was not the the high end kind ordered. Yum yum sauce tasted watered down and only tasted like lemon. Good and experience not worth it.
Passed this place many times and went by to give it a go. I had the highest hopes. The restaurant is very dirty, there was a silver fish on our table at our arrival. The hibachi chef(?) Just cooked our food and was in and out. The food is pricy for the quality because hibachi is supposed to be an experience that goes with the cost. We waited 20 min for a waitress to come check on us and eventually had to tell the chef to go get her, there were only 4 people eating in the restaurant besides us. They also gave themselves an 18% tip despite all of this.
Six of our family dined there and very much enjoyed our dinners. The food quality was very good, I rate it 4.5 our of 5. The variety of items offered was quite good. Pricing was a bit high, but good restaurant.

Ordered thai curry dishes, completely flavorless and bland, poor ingredients. Then the check included an 18.5% mandatory tip - pretax! The manager gave some lame explanation. Lousy food and dishonest charges.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT! One star, zero if I could.We went to this place thinking we would get a normal looking hibachi restaurant. NOPE! We got the worst service that we have ever gotten at a restaurant. We were expecting a normal hibachi experience you would usually get. Instead, we got a boring chef. No sake, no shrimp, no magic tricks, no nothing! And on top of that, the place was dirty. We were expecting to see either a cockroach, or a rat or mouse. The soda bottles were dirty, the waiters don’t have any personality, and another set of people came in and sat next to us and were treated like kings and queens because they were regulars according to their conversation.
Sakada is a gem of a spot. The fish is cut super thick and the sushi is sizable which is a great value. It's delicious there. 10/10 would recommend this spot.
Delicious Asian food in the heart of St. Augustine, with Japanese and Chinese options. I enjoyed the hot & sour soup and vegetable lo mein...very flavorful. The service was very good and the prices were reasonable too. There's outdoor seating available as well...for those warm summer nights.
