So, years ago, the food was excellent. Great pizza. The last 3 times I've had their pizza it's been terrible. So thin it fell apart, holes in the middle, low on flavor, texture far from desirable. If management sees this please, stop getting your supplies from the cheaper suppliers and make food with better quality ingredients that reflect the high cost you charge for your food. This is not how you keep customers. We used to order weekly. Now we only order from here when the other place I have chosen above all is closed or way to busy to wait.

This place is amazing! Excellent service and some of the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten! Highly recommend the Chicken Romano with Broccoli Rabe! Delicious, succulent, and satisfying indeed.

The atmosphere and service was wonderful. Mia was a great server and answered all of our questions. The drinks were nicely presented. We ordered pizza, a calzone, and a couple of kids entrees during our visit. The food tasted wonderful, but unfortunately made all of our stomachs upset.

Best Italian restaurant in St Augustine by far. Food was delicious, staff was fantastic and the owners are from my home state of NJ. What more can you ask for ?? My wife and I will definitely be coming back !!

Advise making reservations as it could be slammed on the weekends. Serve was excellent, food and portions very good, nice and pleasant atmosphere. Separate bar.

We're making the rounds to find the best pizza in St Augustine and Romano's Pizza and Restaurant was next on our list. We only tried the pizza and the stromboli and antipasto for take away, not the restaurant, in this review.Overall we enjoyed the meal. I thought the Grandma pizza knocked it out of the park, loved it. Crust was fairly crisp but the cheese, sauce, and spices were totally on point. My daughter loved the pepperoni stromboli, thought it was the best one she'd ever had.The antipasto was very good, but we've had better and that may just come down to personal taste. The house dressing was excellent.Surprisingly, our son just didn't care for the sausage and pepperoni pizza. I did not try it myself but he wouldn't finish it, and he loves pizza. I wish I had a better explanation other than he's a typical moody thirteen year old boy. It did look good.Staff were very friendly on the phone and at pickup. Here's a tip - they will ask you if you are calling their specific location because there is another pizzeria with the same or similar name in the region, and people have mixed them up resulting in orders that were not picked up. It's not a big deal and they only do it with new customers (they must save your info in their system for future calls) so just be ready for it.Tip # 2 - The restaurant is on the right, but the pizzeria is on the left. Go into the door in the far left. In between the two entrances is another door with a sign pointing to the right, where the restaurant is. But the restaurant doesn't open until evening so the door will be locked if you are there earlier in the day for pizza. Head left, and you'll quickly see the entrance. We would order again for the Grandma and stromboli, and I'd like to try the Italian food in the restaurant, so we'll likely be back.

$67 for two people $11 tip the food was horrible, minestrone soup tasted like oil and water. The spaghetti and meatballs had very little meat and the sauce was like ketchup. The shrimp fettuccine was like rubber. We had ordered to go and I took it back and the first thing she said was “I’m not giving you your money back” I said “ that’s okay , I’m not asking for my money, here’s your food back. It’s not edible. You only get me once”BAD really bad, no Italian would eat that.

This is the first time I'm ever posting a review of a restaurant and it's really only because of the less than optimal customer service. I ordered over the phone for a small appetizer and while I was ordering I was saying "a small size. . ." of the stromboli when the lady taking my order cut me off to make sure I knew where the restaurant was, I guess? So instead of listening to my order she rang it in as the regular size stromboli, which is much more expensive. When I picked it up my two items came out to be much more than I anticipated so once I ran the numbers I went back inside and asked for an itemized receipt and explained I ordered a small appetizer and a small stromboli to which the lady, I'm guessing the same lady on the phone, again cut me off and said "you didn't specify the size so you ordered the regular size portion."Well, if you hadn't cut me off on the phone you would have heard my correct order and I wouldn't be leaving a 2 star review for customer service on your website. I really did not mean to spend $30 after a tip on dinner for myself. Won't be eating here again.

The pizza was not good. The chicken parm lacked taste. The sauce was terrible. Very disappointing ?. Their food used to be so good. This was my second and last try.

We dine in, everything they prepare is great! It is a small place, not fancy, homey. The staff is friendly, try it!!
