This was WONDERFUL! Found it by googling Italian near our motel and so glad we did! Little tiny place in the strip mall we even passed by twice! I had chicken parm, the guys had meatball parm amd my sweet friend ordered the small calzone..her calzone could have easily fed all 4 of us and we ALL brought home leftovers. Before we leave tge beach we have vowed to try their pizza! Everything (including appetizers of fried ravioli) was delish and great people
This place is great...it starts with whoever they have answering the phone. We placed the order online and followed up with a phone call to make sure they got. Whoever answered the phone acknowledged who we were by name and assured us the order was in and give us a delivery window. They are pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. The driver showed up on time with the correct order ... he too was pleasant and courteous. Oh, and the food was great!! All in all good food and good service -- what more can you ask for.
We live locally but have always gone to Augies Pizza downtown. A friend recommended this place. Last night on the way back from Orlando area We go in and ask if they do slices. The girl was not nice and said they only do it at lunch. I let that go. No reason to be nasty as it was only a question.. we decided on food then. We asked the other girl if we should order then sit. She said no she would be over. She never came over so we went back up and she said, oh I forgot. No apology. We left. I understand staff shortages and am always patient and nice. I do not like nastiness. As we were leaving we overheard a gentleman say he called 40 minutes ago. The order was never put in. We will stick with our other place.
Was down in Jacksonville for a wedding, my sisters and I decided to go to St. Augustine for the day. We tried many restaurants but the wait was 45+ so we found Romano's and decided to eat here. Best decision ever! The food was delicious, pizzas were the perfect size, excellent prices, I want to go back. Next time I'm in Jacksonville I will absolutely visit
We have eaten here a few times since arriving in December and the food is very good and tasty and as far as the service goes we can't say enough good things about Simone always working with a great personality and lucky for us she been our server every time. Great job!
If you want to order a pizza, don't call this place. They just hang up on you. Food is good if you order online. I usually get delivery and tip 30 percent. Sad!
This place blows every pizza place I have ever been to on the east coast out of the water. The food is so beyond delicious, the wait time is not bad at all and even if it was I would wait an hour for this food it is that good!!! I highly recommend you stop here if you are in the area ? We had the philly cheese steak, garlic cheese bread, Greek salad, and the spicey island baha pizza and it was devoured!!! Thanks guys we will definitely be back next time we are down visiting ?
Terrible plate of veal parmigiana Plate full of an entire salad bowl full of water in the bottom of my pasta. Flavorless pasta and sauce. Only order pizza here. Everything else is gross. Cook walking around in his pajamas in back. Eew
We here at metal on the brain podcast take one thing almost as seriously as we take riffs and that’s food. We called Romanos on the beach and realized we were calling close to close so we hung up. They called us back and assured us that it was more than fine to order. After receiving the pizza and garlic knots we ordered (in remarkable time non the less) from a very nice man, me (a life long local) and my co host (a native Italian long islander) proceeded to just nod and chew in silence for 10 minutes. Any and all of this experience has been nothing short of 5 stars.
