Found this on a google search and decided to try. Food was delicious! We had a Ruben on pumpernickel/rye and a Philly Cheese Sub. Portions were great ingredients tasted fresh! We definitely will be back when visiting again!
I’ve been vacationing in St. Aug for 20+ years, but hadn’t tried (or even heard of) Old City Subs until today. We decided to check it out and damn am I impressed! The steak Philly was at least as good as, and arguably better than, any I’ve previously eaten. The bread was soft and fresh and the steak was ample and flavorful. Make sure you ask for the datil pepper sauce - it’s awesome.The restaurant was clean, inside and out, and the employees were friendly. The prices are reasonable and the food is prepared quickly. The warm subs are wrapped in foil so they’re still warm when you get home. I’ll definitely be back (maybe for dinner tonight!).
Foods great. Can never order over the phone, just rings and rings. Not sure if they are aware of this or not.

First time going. Got a large chicken bacon ranch. And a cookie. And it is a LARGE sandwich. Very delicious. I will be back to try other sandwiches.
Drove by many times before stopping today. Got a buffalo chicken sub, the medium was huge. Also tried the banana bread {!} Which was excellent. Plenty of space for seating and they were playing good music, which is always a plus. Best local sub shop I've found in St Augustine.
Love going to this place. I don't live in this town. So, it's a rare treat for me. Owner and his wife are excellent people. Sub was just right. I have no complaints.
Drove in from out of town looking for a good food spot. By far one of the best sub places I’ve ever tried! The chili was so good but the subs were better!
Very pleased!!! Rep the answered the phone was great. The sub was delicious, fresh, filling, and well priced! Not only that; there was no delivery fee or delivery minimum. Finally the delivery was fast, the driver was courteous and cute!
