Small but well decorated with automotive themed everything, including the menu . We ordered the onion ring appetizer and they were really good. Then we ordered two burgers, the Corvette and the Pink Beetle. They looked great and the portions were large but.... they really would have been Super if the meat had more or ANY seasoning. So unfortunate.
Stopped in for a quick bite with the family and had a wonderful lunch! Service was very fast and friendly and the food tasted amazing. We’ll definitely stop again, atmosphere is so cool lots to look at.
Food was good, service was nice. Unique atmosphere. If I go back (not sure that I will) I certainly will not be duped into ordering the side of onion rings again. There is a $1.99 upcharge on a very, very small portion. We only got six rings; some of which were the very tiny rings at the end of the onion. Too bad they do that because it turned me off to their place. On the other hand, the beer was a good deal. So, maybe it evens out in the end.
Delicious breakfast spot! It’s small, expect a wait, but it’s worth it. We had the Elvis pancakes and the build your own omelet, delicious and made to order. Fun kitchy spot.
Judging on the burgers - cooked to order and nicely done. They are big (8oz at least) which is too much food for me, personally. The sides - we had fries and onion rings - were good. There were wraps and sandwiches also. Car / garage theme. Small dining room, 8 tables. Single waitress, who from her conversations at other tables, had been on all day. Unfortunately, she was not very attentive to us and it took a while for our order to be taken. Milkshakes not available. Small selection of beers, of which two were out of stock. Asked for a second beer mid meal - not brought until after we had finished. Tables not wiped down between patrons that I saw. Everything a little sticky. I would still recommend based on the food. Burgers were about $14 each, which we considered fair. But if service is important to you as part of the experience, I would try somewhere else.
Service was terrible but I'll chalk it up to the waitress having a bad start to the day. For exhorbitant prices during spring break, I would've expected better service and food. One piece of toast? Overcooked hash? $2.50 for a cup of coffee half-filled with no refills? Really? Thanks for not checking on us...? We'll try another, friendlier place.
good was good and fun to look at all the decorations
Visited for breakfast and it was great. I accidentally arrived a few minutes before opening time, but was welcomed in by the two workers inside. There was already another customer enjoying their breakfast, so I thought that was nice that they accommodated us early arrivers. The atmosphere is unique and interesting. The inside is rather small, but the 10 or 15 of us had plenty of elbow room. Besides several tables and at least 1 booth, there are several chairs at a counter facing the street in front of open windows. That must be nice to people watch on A1A. They seem to be managing their tight space very well. All of the menu items have interesting auto-themed names. I forget what mine was called, but it was hash, eggs, toast and breakfast potatoes. They had a few different types of toast...I had the sourdough and it was real good. The over easy eggs were cooked nicely and the potatoes were slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were yummy and did not need any additional seasoning. The homemade hash was very good. Unfortunately, they are prepared with green peppers, which I do not care for. When the server checked on me, I said it was my bad for not asking how the hash was prepared. He immediately offered to put on another serving and leave out the peppers. I thought that was way above and beyond as it was totally my fault for not asking beforehand. All in all a great experience and I will be returning to try out lunch!
Unique diner, with big selection of burgers of course, plus many other sandwiches as well. My Corvette burger was excellent as well as my caesar salad. Fun atmosphere, friendly service, and reasonable prices.
This place has an imaginative automobile decor like Route 66. Lots of fun. The prices were moderate and portion size was good. Taste of food was average. They had outside seating of 2 picnic tables for take out only. There was one waiter serving everyone so he was very busy.
