We have eaten here in the past and have been happy. our recent visit on June 16, 2022 was very disappointing. Both of our entrees were lacking in taste and presentation. Our meal was equal in taste to something you would get at a cheap chain restaurant. Definitely not worth the money we paid. There are far better restaurants in St. Augustine. We won't be back.

I have to say after reading some of the comments, what do people expect? First of all with all the restaurants in town law on staff these people tried there best to seat, take orders and get food out to their guest as fast as they could. And the comment or read about the shrimp and grits, I don’t know where they were but here at that restaurant we had fabulous shrimps and grits! This restaurant is so good, the couple of sitting across from us was talking with us, and said they come back every year to. Is it St. Augustine and they always eat here! I also loved the location and history about the restaurant, Reasonable prices also.

Great outdoor seating with live music! We were sat outside right away, despite it being busy. Our server Ashley was very quick and gave us some bar recommendations. I got the crab cakes, which were delicious, but a bit pricey. The bruschetta was amazing.

Not my favorite place on our road trip through Florida. The bruschetta was great and the clam chowder was *chef's kiss.* The salmon was expensive and flavorless. The rice was bland. This was the most expensive meal on the trip and it wasn't worth it in my opinion. There was outdoor seating by the bay and live music which is why this rating is a 4/5 instead of lower.

This was my first time here and it really lived up to my expectations. Inside the building constructed in 1790 you’ll get the ambiance of a bygone era with exposed wooden beams and walls of coquina. The staff was attentive and polite. We ordered a special of the day: swordfish wraps with fries. The wrap was delicious. For appetizers we had a house salad and crab spinach dip—which was the star of the show. Ask for a couple extra pieces of bread though because the dip is plentiful. The restaurant was very clean, which is something I always look for (even before the pandemic).Menu prices are not bad, expect a party of two with appetizers and no alcohol to run you about $25 per person.

This was our first time eating at this establishment. The menu was not overwhelming with different options. Which I loved. Our server was friendly he gave us suggestions for the specials of the day. We decided on one of the specials and it was delicious. Swordfish wrap. My crab dip was also delicious. We will return for dinner another day.

One of my favorite places - St. Augustine, Florida - had more than its share of ghosts and great places to eat!One of these great places is O C White's Seafood & Spirits. (The Ghost Tour will be a separate review - also Five Stars!)Located in the Worth House, which was built in 1790 on the waterfront across from the City Marina in downtown St. Augustine, O.C. White's Seafood & Spirits opened in 1992.I was charmed by the ambience of the historic building and the outdoor patio. The food from the kitchen was fresh and delicious. While my friends and I did not linger long after we enjoyed supper here, our server said that they have live music seven days a week - and suggested that we return for brunch on Sunday. If you go, the parking is free, but you may want to carpool, as the parking lot fills up on the weekends.

We ate outside in the garden while listening to live music. It was a low key yet beautiful ambience. The service was top notch and the waitress was very patient with our indecisive group. Drinks were good and so was our food. We enjoyed everything about this place and our meal.

We recently stopped by for drinks as we heard guitar music playing. We were greeted by Mikey at the host stand who couldn't have been nicer. Since dinner was still being served, we didn't want to take up a table so he found us chairs that allowed us to listen and still access the bar. Due to his service, we made sure to return for dinner the following night and were not disappointed. Good food and service again. Get a table under the jasmine vines !

We picked this restaurant for dinner over others in the area because we were traveling with St Augustine first timers and we KNEW we would have a great experience, because we had just visited this restaurant in late January and had a fantastic meal. What a difference a few months made. First the good- Location is great, we came from the marina and it was a quick walk, the scenery out the windows is great. The decor is beautiful and it is clean. We were also seated with almost no wait for a table inside (that might not have been a great sign on a Saturday night, but we were happy at the time.) Also the martinis were still good. And our server was fine. (Although they brought all food out at once, which was slightly annoying. I didn’t think you needed to specify you wanted soup and salads to come out first) Sadly, the bad. . .all of the food (with the exception of the clam chowder which was great, and the plate of fried seafood, which was fine.) two of us ordered shrimp and grits based on a passing waitress STOPPING what she was doing to tell us the shrimp and grits were the best thing to get. They weren’t aggressively bad, but they weren’t very good either, the shrimp were over cooked, the grits were very meh and watery and were not “cheese grits” as described in the menu, but merely grits with some shredded cheese sprinkled on top. The aggressively bad dishes at our table were the steak (tough and over cooked and sooooo dry!! So dry!) and the market price Swordfish. I don’t know what “market” it came from, but they should stop shopping there. It was thin, cut in 2 pieces and criminally overcooked (although given how THIN the piece of fish was, it wouldn’t have taken much to overcook it) The waiter didn’t even ask if everything was okay. It was an appallingly bad meal that was also pretty expensive. We just paid the check and got out of there as quickly as possible. It’s so sad because this restaurant was the highlight of our trip in January, and we left apologizing to the new people we brought
