Wonderful experience! Third time at a Metro Diner on our vacation and our best experience yet. Britney M. knows how to balance our needs, and manage expectations. Juggling our table’s requests against the line manager (Marcus), was interesting to see (and hear) across the restaurant. Glad we were able to get what we wanted no matter how Marcus wanted it.Actually that’s the only blemish on our experience today…. Really, our party of 8 is ordering more food than the rest of the customers here combined and if we want a side of something, it shouldn’t be a big enough deal to make an issue of it— if you won’t give us a free sample, simply say kindly, “there’s a .50 charge for that.” Stay professional. Don’t bully your waitress in front of the restaurant guests; that makes us uncomfortable and we came here to relax and have a good time, not to get people in trouble or watch people snapped at because we didn’t know better than to make a small request.Anyway. Other than that spot on our experience, we had a fabulous time. The food here is outstanding. The waitress was polite, friendly, and fast with service. And goodness you have to order the Hawaiian burger and the fish n chips! We can’t wait to come back!
We’ve been to this location and the one in Palm Coast and they’re both terrific! I had the fried chicken eggs Benedict and it is my favorite dish there! My gf had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and breakfast potatoes and enjoyed them as well. The gravy doesn’t have the most flavor of sausage, but it’s still pretty good on the biscuits. The service is fantastic, the prices are great, and the portions are HUGE! They’re great for breakfast and lunch!
Always great food and service every time we go. Also went for Lunch on Mother’s Day with my children and someone paid for our lunch for us. So very kind. We love Metro
Metro Diner is an excellent place for breakfast! We have eaten at the Augusta Georgia and St Augustine Florida diners, and the food is consistently good. Quick service too. We highly recommend.
The breakfast was delicious and our server (Nicole I think) was fantastic. Will definitely return when we come back to the city.

Good buzz inside the place, lots of people, generally a good sign. Left disappointed. Fish and chips were tasteless with nuked breading on the fish and a bland side salad. The club sandwich was massive but flavourless and dry. Our server was a bit disinterested and yeh, give it a miss.
Came for lunch and it was great Not on the menu I ordered a philly cheese steak omelette and it was fabulous. Pot roast platter was tender and juicy. Burger was great Every one was very satisfied Prices very reasonable and our waitress April was wonderful
The staff acted like they really didn’t want to be there. They weee slow to take my order, and, acted like I was bothering them.
