NOT VEGETARIAN. I don't know why this comes up for St. A's list of veg restaurants, unless you are ordering pizza you have a "choice" of one sandwich, pictured here, $9 which seems costly. Maybe use a smaller plate so it doesn't look so sad...Further, waited 20 minutes for this sandwich and battled flies inside. This is not what I expected at all from Mellow Mushroom, what a bummer man.
good service Trivia was fun too
Food is still good, but major improvements are required, Let's start with the front desk, which was staffed by an obnoxious and rude woman. Moving on to the Men's restroom...no soap,no paper towels, and probably not cleaned in days. Obviously, management is non-existent or does not give a damn.
I love mellow mushroom! Super friendly staff and the food is amazing. The beer cheese has to be my all time favorite here. Mellow is in a convenient place that I can walk to Old coast ales when im done eating! Fantastic restaurant. This place deserves a solid 5 star review
We sat on the spacious outdoor patio. Their mushroom soup is amazing. We got kids their own meals with french bread pizza and apple slices. The adults enjoyed a mighty meaty pizza. All was great.
The St Augustine Mellow Mushroom is the best Mellow Mushroom ever. Their spinach salad is bar none the best.
Any restaurant with the good sense to offer Bonanza Cabernet by the glass gets my five-star review (for those of you who don't know, Bonanza is the lower-priced bottle of Cabernet from the Caymus vineyard - great flavor profile for less money). As a recent vegan (for health reasons, not ideological), I was happy to find an entire menu of good options. The gluten-free pizza only came in a smaller size, but it proved to be just the right size. Not too much, just right. FYI to the management: my pizza was undercooked, but I ate it nonetheless and will give you all another try regardless. It was a fun experience, and kitchen mistakes happen when you're busy. Oh, and LIVE MUSIC!!! What a treat! Nice spot. Plan to visit on my next trip.
Great dinner & service, the place was packed but worth the wait. We tried the holy shitake pizza, delicious!
Met an old friend and her family here. Food was very good. We happened to be there on bingo night so it was kind of loud for my taste. Overall a fun place with a funky atmosphere.
Great service and food, and we were a table of over 20. Great job y’all
