Very interesting place, they have a different way of taking your order, instead of assigning a number to the order they ask you a question and your order will be your answer! Food is great, and very fulfilling. Totally recommend.
So glad we found this treasure for breakfast. It is a casual restaurant where you place your order and they call you when ready. We enjoyed the "sticky maple" breakfast sandwich, which is a fried chicken breast on a flaky biscuit drenched in maple syrup. We also enjoyed an order of the biscuits and gravy. Both were delectable but my wife and I agreed it was one of the best biscuits and gravy we've eaten. Go, enjoy, and start your day off right!
Hubs had the sticky maple biscuit sandwich and I had the five & dime. They were both tasty. Nothing to write home about. They call out your order based on your favorite super hero or villain.
I had the squawking goat which was featured on the food network. It’s a fried chicken sandwich on a biscuit with goat cheese and red pepper jelly. It’s a bit sticky, but very good. This isn’t the lumberjack breakfast spot but it os enough and is delicious. The line can stretch out into hot Florida sun so come before 10 for little to no wait. If you like a morning coffee, they have plenty to choose from.
Ordered the chicken/feta biscuit and was surprised how great it was. The sauce was sweet with a touch of heat. The feta cheese was a nice touch. The biscuit was not flakey. Will eat there when I next visit St. Augustine.
Had The Farmer, an iced Maple Vanilla Latte, orange juice, and sweet potato fries. All were delish! We had a small issue with my order and when we reported it, they remade it within minutes AND refunded us! I never expected that! Their service was amazing and everyone was super friendly. Can't wait to go back!
The food is fantastic and the staff even more so! They were very accommodating for me and my dog. Since I was alone and couldn’t take him inside (he’s not a service dog), they seated me, took my order for me, and brought out my food. Plus they brought him a water bowl of his own! I would definitely come back here. Their risky biscuits and gravy is so good.
Comfort food at it's best. Don't worry the line moves fast and the food is good, fresh and hot! Fun place to start the day!
The Maple Street Biscuit Co. was having kind of a rough morning when my wife and I visited it in April of 2022. The internet had gone completely down, and despite hard efforts for multiple minutes, manager Dalton was still working on getting things up and running. Rather than kicking us out of the place, he offered us a work around to still get our food and a coffee. All of them were delicious. But what really left an impression on me was the quality of care and kindness we received. The place is clearly exceptionally well run. The workers take pride in what they do and how they serve people. And Dalton is just a champ. Make sure you visit Maple Street Biscuit Company the next time you're in St. Augustine. It'll be a memorable, high quality trip.
I love this place!!! Great food!! Try the grits with a fried egg, maple bacon, cheddar cheese, chives and hot sauce!!! So delicious! Coffee is good and fresh! Friendly service! What’s not to like?
