Second time we have eaten here. First time was good and the service was awesome. The second, not so much. The male staff were all acting angry and were not interested in representing their restaurant the way they should have been. We spent more than a couple hundred bucks this go round and I had a really hard time leaving a tip. Horrible service. Take some advice, if you don't like your job, go find another one. Restaurants are in business to serve food and be friendly. I will never eat at this place again. I Feel sorry for the owners. Your staff sucked tonight.
The best place around for authentic Mexican food. Visiting from Chicago, it's hard to find something authentic. This place is it! Homemade salsas, Mexican grill taste, and some great horchata! This is my new spot when in town!
This restaurant was recommended by a local merchant. I arrived at 2:15 pm, door was locked, but OPEN sign was illuminated in the window. Both internet and front door indicated hours of operation until 2:30 pm.This is the kind of thing that immediately turns me against a restaurant. Bad business. I will not return.
We are visiting the area. Every dish we had here was lovingly prepared and presented. Every dish was hot and tasty. I wish this restaurant was close to my home! A real treat. Probably the best Mexican food I've ever had. 5 Stars to the 10th degree.
Frozen margaritas were really good, the chicken, beef and shrimp fajitas are excellent, real slow on service..took a long time on getting our chips and salsa with queso to the table. Almost came out with our dinner...
Amazing!! As we were in a rush we asked if they could help us stay in time by bringing the food quickly if possible. Within - what felt like the blink of an eye- they brought our food.. all smiles!! The service was so kind and so warm. Perfect first taco experience for me :)
We found this restaurant on a Friday night and decided to try out the Latino influenced fare. None of the six in our party were disappointed. The beautiful murals depicting the art and artists of Frida and Diego gave our dinner such a wonderful visual experience. Our meals were super delicious. I have never had better chille relanos. The drinks were super good too. Prices are reasonable and we were served by a kind and attentive woman. Highly recommend for an authentic Mexican restaurant.
I truly believe they make the worst burrito ever. It is a flour tortilla, filled with wet, minced (not shredded) chicken, and nothing else. No cheese, no rice, no beans, no lettuce or tomato. It was simply wet meat stuffed in a tortilla and baked until rubber and topped with very thin green sauce that was more like green water. My husband had the chili relleno and it was okay. Service was not very good
I love the feel of the Mexican culture, design, food, and drinks. The drinks and food were delicious.
We had a wonderful lunch with friends at La Cocina Mexican Restaurant! The service was good and the food and drinks were excellent. I had the Black bean tacos and my wife had the veggie empanadas. We especially loved the little toothpick flags! Overall great food and service! We'll definitely be visiting La Cocina again!
