Selected this Italian restaurant for a reunion with REAL Italians from New Jersey. All 3 who ordered the eggplant parmesan raved about it. My chicken parmesan was equally yummy. Loved the cannoli I had for dessert. Have to do a shout out to our server, Melinda. She was very attentive without disrupting our lively conversation. Insider Tip: Arrive by 5:30 pm so you can order from the Early Bird menu that includes many choices of entree plus one side and a choice of desserts. Your order needs to be placed before 6 pm.
Wonderful find. Excellent food. Early bird specials until 6 pm. The salads and stuffed bread appetizers were wonderful. The Eggplant Parmigiana and the Sausage and Pepper dishes were also excellent. Early bird special come with drink and dessert making this place a real bargain. The wait staff was attentive and friendly.
Great selection, delicious appetizer, salad and entree! Service was fantastic! Would love to have this back home in Michigan! Would recommend whenever in town.
After being recommended as “the best” by the hotel clerk, we drove an extra distance to this restaurant. We were promptly seated, but that was the end of the good service. After more than 15 minutes, we reminded a wait person that we’d been waiting that long. I’m Our server shortly thereafter did appear and offered a general apology. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs and an alfredo pasta dish. Again, we waited a very long time before the server finally appeared and said our order was being plated. More than 5 minutes later, our food arrived. We both were served generous portions of very tasty food. I, especially, loved the red sauce. The meatballs were large and ok. If you have time, this restaurant has great food.
Excellent food, enjoyed ceasar and house dinner salads and pizza. The salads were delicious fresh ingredients and homemade dressings. Pizza was very good with EVOO, spicy sausage, fresh mushrooms and garlic. Pizza dough was crispy and tasted very fresh. The wait staff was extremely friendly, attentive and service was quick. This was our first experience and we will be going back.
They need to hire and retain staff. Open up the wallet. I pointed out a discarded Covid 19 mask ? on the floor by my foot. Waitress didn't think it was a problem. They finally picked it up as we were leaving. Food is tasty, but definitely pricey. Will try one of their competitors next time.
First and foremost, the pizza here is consistently outstanding!! Ordered ahead on a very busy Saturday evening and got there early purposely to sit and enjoy a glass of wine while waiting. Got there and pizza was ready (odd, too quick) but it was wrong. Poured me a glass of wine on the house - which I said was not necessary because I came early to enjoy a glass of wine anyway - and said I'd have to wait 45 minutes because they were backed up and short staffed in the kitchen, and the new pizza still came out in about 20 minutes. Total class act and I love the atmosphere here. Can't wait to come in and enjoy a good Italian meal sitting down in this cozy little place.
Place is awesome! Great food and atmosphere. We dine here a couple times a month. Glad the staff isn't wearing masks and allows freedom of choice. Can't believe the negative reviews for no masks LOL. People complain over the dumbest things.
Excellent food and atmosphere. I highly recommend the pizzas, pastas and my favorite is the veal piccata and spinach dish! Definitely will come back to this family friendly place!
We eat there at less twice a week. Order take out (chicken Parmesan) and the chicken tasted very funny and was like cutting through rubber (usually excellent) took the order back thinking it might be Veal or something else but they insisted it was chicken. Ask them just to make another (maybe it was a bad piece of chicken) and got attitude about it. Got the second order and it and it was served back with the same cold pasta and the chicken was not much better. Usually a great place to eat but this is the second time we had an issue. I hope they get back to normal soon
