Small place with the usual dishes, spotless kitchen during dinner rush time, noticeably better than average.
I ordered the shrimp in lobster sauce. The flavor was ok but it should have been called shrimp soup. It was so thin no body just drippy like a soup. The shrimp roll was good.
The food here had several things that made it very good. Not too much oil, perfectly stir fried, just enough but not too much sauce. We are visiting here and was surprised to find good Chinese food because I’ve just about given up on that, anywhere. Had moo-shu veggies (excellent version), shrimp egg rolls (not too oily) and Kung poa chicken (usually too oily but this wasn’t). I recommend.
We got take out and I was surprised at how good it was for such a small unassuming place. Everything is cooked to order. Our General Tao’s was good, Mongolian beef was really good and the vegetable moo shu was fabulous. We also had egg drop soup and hot and sour soup - all really good. I think their stir fried dishes are the real standout. Highly recommend for delicious takeout.
As a Chinese, I would say this is definitely one of the best chinese food restaurants in US for both quality and price, strongly recommend!!
I was pleasantly surprised. Absolutely fresh, hot and delicious. This would be my new spot if it wasn’t six hours from my house.
