What a fantastic find! Great ambience, great service and the food is first class. Fried shrimp were excellent, the romaine ceasar wedge was incredible. Well executed presentation.Highly recommend
Everything we had was flipping amazing!! The steak, salmon, scallops, whipped potatoes….all so so good! Topped it off with the best crème brûlée I’ve ever had!
The food was okay. It wasn’t super impressive. We had the cheese curds which were amazing and the best thing we tried. The kids chicken tenders were good. But the actual meals.. they were just okay. The fried shrimp were fried in cornmeal with no seasonings. Grits were super thick. The hanger steak was suppose to be cooked medium but came out almost rare. Mashed potatoes were really good. The Thai shrimp was a weird combo with the fried egg, chicken sauce, grits and Thai glaze shrimp. They also have a nice side salad but it was 8 dollars. They were out of Snapper. Sweet tea was made out of concentrate. They serve canned sodas. We also noticed they don’t really like kids as they wouldn’t sit the party in front of us inside with small children- only outside. And they only seat parties of 6 or LESS. No big groups. We won’t return on any future trips because we weren’t that impressed with the food. The waitress was great.
It was amazing! Great service! Kelly was lovely with us! We get salmon and steak! It was very fresh and delicious! Overall, we had a great experience on our first visit!
Just excellent! Unfortunately we didn’t eat here until the last night of our vacation. Big mistake! It was excellent and I wish we had eaten here sooner. Everything we had was delicious! The Pinot, buffalo short ribs, hanger steak and apple crumb pie. Even the decaf coffee was excellent. Service was delightful! It may not look like much on the outside but it’s cozy on the inside. Don’t hesitate to eat here. Looking forward to our next vacation!!
Absolutely Devine dinner experience. Tony was the best server ,very kind and fabulous service. Everything was heavenly. Tried the Elk and it was perfectly cooked and the flavors were on point. I had the scallops and linguine and my other half had the steak and potatoes. Everything was made with love ❤ Thank you Chef for an exceptional dinner and dessert

Very interesting menu makes it hard to choose. We had such delicious meals and a gracious, knowledgeable server. The prices are very reasonable. Don’t pass up a visit to The Elkhouse Eatery.
This looks rather unassuming from the outside, but please don’t miss it. Such an interesting menu, we struggled to make a dinner choice. Once we chose, we both had such delicious meals, full of flavor, served by a top notch server. Prices are very reasonable, lower than we expected for such a fine meal. We were comfortable in our casual dress.
Why did I not go sooner ! I have lived 3 blocks from there for over a year and tonight was my first time and WOW !!!! Service and food was excellent. I will definitely be back. It is a bit loud but I didn’t mind at all. We chatted with the tables on each side and really enjoyed the time there. Will be back very soon. Big parking lot, huge wine list and just an all around nice time.
