This little Mexican place was Awesome!! The server was very nice and attentive to his customers. I felt very comfortable being the first time coming to St.Agustine. Great price 100% authentic Mexican food. When ever I get a chance to come back this will be my first stop.Thank you Tony L. For your great service.
My enchiladas rancheras were amazing and the amount of food was more than I could eat. Disagree with negative post on salsa. It was yummy and thick enough to stay on the corn chip. Recommend this restaurant whole heartedky.
Great place, small and quaint. Good food, pretty quick service for as busy as it was. Only thing I would ask is to add some local craft beers to your menu! I loved everything else!
The food was so good!!! Full of flavor. Didn't have to douse in hotsauce to give it flavor like i have to at some other places. Definitely coming back next time I'm in the area 10/10 <3
We were staying across the street of here. We could smell the amazing food. So glad we tried it out. Huge portions, amazing taste, great service. Probably one of the best Mexican Restaurants I have had. We could tell they were reall deal by the homemade hot sauce.
I’ve had tacos at several local taquerias and El Potro’s are by far the best. They are very tasty, and the additional hot sauce that they provided is wonderful. Just the right balance of hotness and savor. Staff is very friendly. I feel that this place is underrated. Now I just need to go back and try other dishes.
I stopped here simply because I like Mexican food and it was close to my hotel. I'm so glad I did! I hadn't eaten for about 24 hours and was famished so I ordered a large combination dinner. I think it was $16.95. That may seem pricy but it came out on TWO dinner plates. There was easily enough food for two people and it was delicious! Fortunately, my hotel had a refrigerator and microwave in the room because I thoroughly enjoyed reheating the leftovers for dinner the next evening.
We come very often and the food is great to eat there! But the food is usually wrong when we order it to go. The service is fast and they’re friendly, but the servers always seem to disappear after they drop the food off.
Our favorite Mexican restaurant in town! Good service and food. Reasonable prices.
Great as always!! Been frequenting this place for at least 14yrs. Had a couple times that the food wasn't on point but that's very minimal to how many times it's been a great experience. Love the food and the staff, nothing short of awesome! I highly recommend. *On a different note. They don't serve liquor as they are within 500ft of a school. But they do have beer and wine. Enjoy a very relaxing lunch or dinner with these guys. You won't be disappointed.
