Highly recommend Drake's. They were some of the best sandwiches we had ever had. Great, fresh ingredients. Really great service too. Wish we had one closer to us.

This place is absolutely amazing!!! I love the staff as well. My wife and mother in law came in here several times from the southern oaks inn and ordered cheese steaks. Best local.

One of the best sandwiches of my life today on. To go order from drakes. Corned beef Reuben. Insanely good. Wow! Nice job Drakes!

We has a great, late lunch after a full day of touring St. Augustine. We ordered Drake’s Last Stand, a Chicken Cheesesteak, two kinds of chowder, and a grilled cheese. The beer cheese chowder was the star of the meal. It was fantastic. Drake’s Last Stand was over shadowed by the roll and ended up tasting a little bland. The Chicken Cheesesteak and grilled cheese were fantastic. We were a little disappointed that an order of onion rings meant getting 5 onion rings, but they tasted great. All in all, it was a fun, delicious experience. We would go back and probably stick to all hot sandwiches this time.

What a find!!! Informal, friendly place for wonderful food. Drake's is a local favorite. I think Drake's does more take away service than eat in. So popular Drake's sold out of soup and desert on our last visit. No problems, Drake's had the sandwiches we wanted.

I had heard about this little gem and had to try it out! As a Reuben sandwich lover, I tried their Reuben and it was the best I had ever had! It was St. Patrick’s day and they had mentioned that they specially roast their corn beef. You could tell! It was just the right tenderness and right amount of everything! The owner even came to say hello while we were there. Super friendly and I can’t wait to have an excuse to return!

Maria the server, such a nice lady! Very attentive! Food has an amazing taste and really good price! Had ham and bean soup, a cuban, cheesesteak sandwich, 3 coffees and a side of fries enough for two.

Just had one of the best sandwiches in a long time! I'm dairy free and gluten free, my son is celiac. They have a gluten free hoagie roll. We ended up spitting it. I got the cheesesteak (no cheese) and it was amazing! Not fatty, but juicy. Added horseradish (fresh!!) and mayo. Sides are seperate, but we were all stuffed afterwards. It's small, but cozy and clean. Busy, but quick. Our server was so knowledgeable and very attentive. She was also just the sweetest girl as well. Highly recommended!

If you have a big appetite, the Philly cheese 8" is plenty of food. They canoe the roll. and put a big, thick, eight inch, girthy log of meat in the middle, like a eight inch, brown, schlong of shaved ribeye. Also, they brew their own iced tea, which really separates the South from the schlock.

I just love this place. The food is simply the best. I was never a sandwich person until I was introduced to this place. Now it's like my daily routine to eat there. The staff is courteous and polite, very friendly also. Love the place! Not too long of a wait to be served either. That's another ➕. You should try the Italian stallion, marvelous
