We were on our way to Georgia and decided to stop for lunch at Donovan’s. We both ordered the pastrami sandwich. I ordered mine with sauerkraut, and my husband ordered his with coleslaw. Both sandwiches were delicious and plentiful. The service was fast and pleasant. They also carry local draft beer that was also delicious. I would highly recommend Donovan’s if you are in the area.
Good food, the fries were cut in-house. The Reubens were amazing, the meat simmers 2 days...very tender. The fish was a great portion. It has a wonderful Irish atmosphere.
Last night I had the most horrible cheeseburger ever!! I asked for med rare. It as over cooked well done and appeared a leftover re heated from lunch. Had always enjoyed Donovans..so sad.
Grabbed a half pound burger at Donovan's. It was a good burger. I had them add grilled.onions and the usual fixings. The burger was medium, as ordered. The fries weren't home made, but they were okay. No onion rings however. My date's burger was ordered medium rare, but came medium. I can't say much negative or positive. A local bar/restaurant with decent food. They do have a good selection of beers.
Reuben eggroll appetizers were deliciousI liked it so much, I got a Reuben sandwich as a meal LOL
Food and Service was Amazing! From the moment we walked in the service was incredible. We will definitely be back! Thank You Donovan's we had a wonderful 1st time experience.
We have only tried one dish at Donovan's - Hot Corned Beef on Rye. Other dishes can be just as good. But we go there when we want a sandwich!
The food was amazing, if I lived in the area would eat here often and the trivia game was so much fun. Went with somw business associates and what a great time.
This was a really nice bar & Restaurant; but no Irish Pub.Sorry; they don't serve the proper Guinness size (20oz) Glasses; but the servers claim they are pint's size.I was sorry see they are small glasses; but charge the same amount as Anne O'Malley's.The only thing that says your in a Irish pub is the cardboard advertising tape up around bar. No Irish music or atmosphere.Seems like a really nice bar & Restaurant; but again no Irish Pub.
Food quality, quantity, and taste was Awesome! Service was Great! Definitely will go back over and over! Highly recommend the corned beef,cabbage and potatoes! So delicious!
