Wow - what an amazing surprise! Tried this place because it was nearby and we're so glad we stopped! The server was outstanding - funny & engaging - and the food was awesome. Definitely fresh & homemade. Great atmosphere. The meatballs were the best I've ever had and the Alfredo sauce was perfect.Definitely coming back and will bring friends & family! A hidden gem in St Augustine.
My husband and I went here for our date night. We ordered a pepperoni calzone and the meat lovers roll for our dinner. We also had their garlic knots and my husband ordered a whiskey (high west, neat).What a disappointment. The food looked really good when it was brought out but it sure didn’t taste good.The food was bland. The garlic knots hardly had any garlic flavor, they reminded me of buttered dinner rolls. There was literally zero Italian seasonings in the red sauce, the calzone, and the meat roll. I’ve never been to an Italian restaurant that had no seasoning in it. We couldn’t even force ourselves to eat half of it and we were hungry! We ended up leaving and going to another restaurant.Our server, Randy, was very nice.
Excellent meal here today which was a lunch size Chicken Parm, with a nice side salad, and some really yummy rolls (and some real iced sweet tea). Great service by Jenn and reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend.
The pizza was so good, both my husband and I were so pleased. The size was generous. The only problem was the one person staff. No interest in service just young girls.
I usually get my food delivered and haven't had any complaints. I thought, if it's this good delivered... dining in should be much better, I was wrong. My kids pizza was mediocre and the sauce for the scampi was bland and they served me Alfredo with spaghetti noodles. I have never been to an Italian restaurant and ordered Alfredo and it came with anything other than fettuccine noodles unless requested but apparently they supposedly always put spaghetti when you dine in (as I was also the first to complain which is doubtful). I was very disappointed. I don't know if they got new cooks since we last ordered or what but I'm not sure I'll ever return in the future honestly.
Selected this Italian restaurant for a reunion with REAL Italians from New Jersey. All 3 who ordered the eggplant parmesan raved about it. My chicken parmesan was equally yummy. Loved the cannoli I had for dessert. Have to do a shout out to our server, Melinda. She was very attentive without disrupting our lively conversation. Insider Tip: Arrive by 5:30 pm so you can order from the Early Bird menu that includes many choices of entree plus one side and a choice of desserts. Your order needs to be placed before 6 pm.
Wonderful find. Excellent food. Early bird specials until 6 pm. The salads and stuffed bread appetizers were wonderful. The Eggplant Parmigiana and the Sausage and Pepper dishes were also excellent. Early bird special come with drink and dessert making this place a real bargain. The wait staff was attentive and friendly.
My husband and I were touring St. Augustine and stopped in for dinner. We had delicious manicotti, sides of sausage and potatoes. Those dishes were hot and delicious. We also ordered a side of meatballs. The meatballs were large and had a nice red sauce...but they came out hard packed and room temperature. The place was clean and service good. While there, we witnessed a great moment between a police officer and a boy. :)
The best Italian restaurant I've ever go, not just in Jacksonville but over the countries I've visited and ate Italian food.fresh, delicious, smells fantastic and looks great ?.The hospitality was geat and beyond. the servers are really carrying.very very clean place, even when it's full of people ? ?definitely will go back and highly recommend to visit.I'm one satisfied customer.Thank you ?
Food was delicious! My husband and I went for a late lunch and got fried calamari as an appetizer and we each ordered the cheese pizza. Everything came out fast and it was all delicious - we ate everything! Our waitress was awesome and it was an overall great experience! Looking forward to next time ?
