Great coffee and an amazing staff.
The owners are incredibly rude! I went to give this place a try, ordered my coffee, and went to sit on the porch. I knew beforehand that they did not have Wi-Fi which is not a problem for me, and they do have signs saying no Wi-Fi. I opened up my laptop and within seconds the female owner comes over and tells me I cannot have my laptop out. I am confused because I don’t see any signs about laptops, only wifi. She is very rude to me and says there are signs posted clearly everywhere. I tell her I saw signs for Wi-Fi only and asked her to clarify. She then tells me I need to leave and so I asked for a refund on my $7 latte that I didn’t even drink yet. As she’s processing a refund she is badgering me about how it’s her café and she can do whatever she wants. I told her of course she could but that the signage wasn’t clear. She pointed to the same sign that says no Wi-Fi where there is a picture of a laptop and a slash through it. I told her that still wasn’t very clear to me that laptops weren’t allowed because it doesn’t specifically say that and from a customer perspective I was just trying to let her know it wasn’t very clear. She continues badgering me about how she can do whatever she wants, her cafe, her rules. At this point I am in tears because she is publicly humiliating me in front of other customers and I’m just trying to get my refund and leave. Absolutely horrible experience. Juniper across the street and Sunday a few spots down both have excellent customer service and will be much more kind to guests.
Our new go to coffee shop. Coffee and fancy coffee drinks are reasonably priced. One of the best dirty chai lattes I’ve ever had. The Cappuccino and Lattes are good too. The is adorable and the owners are super sweet. It has a homely and comfortable feel. I could spend all day there with a book. Artwork is great too and they sell it. We will be back for sure.
Small well designed coffee house. The service was great. It does get popular later on in the morning but when we went in we ordered, got our coffee right away and everything tasted great. I think this is a family run operation and the family took our order and made coffee. Will definitely be back
So we ate the pastry before we could get a full picture! The owners are so welcoming and this is by far the best coffee in town! The amazing pastries were freshly made. We love that there are no lab top computers so we can enjoy the atmosphere which is a surrounding of trees and beautiful outdoor space.
Cool, relaxed vibe at this little place. The owners are wonderful, personable and make some pretty amazing food and coffee. We went 2 days in a row to try out different quiche and bakery items, sooo good!
Great place. Good coffee and pastries. The owners are super nice. They have a lot of paintings that they painted themselves. Nice comfy old house. Great ambiance. Will definitely go back.
Stopped in for brunch on a weekday. Had a pleasant chat with the owner and learned that everything was homemade. I enjoyed the Quiche Lorraine and a croissant. My friend swooned over her cafe con leche and spinach/feta croissant. Enjoyed our meal on the front porch, which apparently is prime seating as nearby customers swooped in on our seats when we left. Appreciated the impeccable cleanliness of the restroom.
Great local Coffee House, with coffee, tea, smoothies and jus’d orange. Delicious food! Blueberry muffins, Lime pie, cookies and more!
What a cool place. I found about about Diane and Theo through a friend who used to go every morning to their place in Key West. Due to a life pivot, they purchased this old bed and breakfast in Saint Augustine and have continued their Coffee house and studio. Excellent Hosts! The breakfast pastries were amazing and the coffee had just the right kick in the pants to start your morning off. I recommend you stop by early for the best selection. I wanted quiche and by 0930, they were sold out. I had an egg and cheese croissant instead, and it was amazing! As a plus, they use sustainable and environmentally friendly products. I missed out on the quiche, but the live music was a definite bonus. Be sure to check out their gift shop items too.
