So the hubby and I came to Cinco de Mayo's at Palencia for lunch. We decided to have a few margaritas. The bartender, Lynzy tells us the prices for happy hour margaritas. Turns out she gave us the wrong information. She indicated the margaritas were $5.99; however, they were $9.99. When we received the bill, the error was discovered. She apologized, but the Manager, Steven, refused to honor the original happy hour price. His excuse was that the bartender was new. He then proceeded to insult us by stating that if we didn't have the money to pay, that isn't his problem. My husband and I have been regular patrons at this establishment for at least 1.5 years and have never received such disrespectful treatment. We most definitely will not be returning and will be attempting to contact the owners of the business. If this is now they treat regular customers, I'd hate to see what happens to anyone else. Cinco de Mayo you just lost 2 customers and maybe more.
I want restaurants to be successful since there are not a lot of choices in our area. This place has gone down hill. No one behind the bar. Waited 15 minutes to get waited on. at the bar. Dinner order was wrong. Waited another 15 minutes for a second beer, ordered a beer and had to flag down someone to get the beer. Getting the check was as painful as everything else. Place was empty so thats not the issue. Not sure if I will go back.
My wife and I ask the cost of mixed margarita drinks during happy hour and we we quoted $5.99 by server. We order a total of 4 drinks based on that information. When we saw the bill, we noticed we were charged $9.99 per drink. We brought it to the severs attention and she admitted she quoted us wrong, but refuse to correct the bill to what we were quoted. I then ask for the manager. Steven they onduty manager then came over. We told him that his server gave us the wrong price for the drinks. Here is what really let me know his incompentence as a restaurant manager. He acknowledged that she quoted us a wrong price but stated " she did not know, she's new." We then asked for the owners name, steven then stated he did not know her number. Here is my takeway, he is underestimating the power of social media. His incompentace as a restaurant leader and manager will be exposed.
Great food and service. Restaurant is beautiful and clean.

The only friendly people in this place are the hosts at the door. After that the wait staff is not friendly, inviting or even smile. We’ve been here twice thinking we’d give it another shot since it’s so close by. We ordered and got our food which was cold. They knew we were sharing but neglected to bring an extra plate. The 3 tacos for taco Tuesday was $8.99. Last time we were there it was $7.99. The Cinco on Capulet Dr by Murabella has them for $6.99. We asked for the menu again to order a drink (margarita) and no one ever came back to our table, so no drink for us. As our waitress passed by our table several times, which you could clearly tell we were done eating because all of the napkins and chips and salsa were piled on our tray, and we still waited about 15 minutes for her to bring us over a check. We generally tip very well, but not when our service is that bad.Go to the one at Murabella you won’t be disappointed. The staff is friendly and inviting you’ll feel like family. The food is hot and fresh and delicious, and the prices are better.

Service was excellent and we had a big party. The food was great, drink were good. All in all a good time for not so much $$. Definitely go again.
The food was good however they’re short on staff, One of the soap dispensers in the women’s restroom was out of soap. And they were too much play in the bathroom sink faucet.
When I bought the chicken with beans, the chicken didn't had salt, pepper, or dressing. It tasted like nothing. Also It had a poor service. The only thing I like is the decoration (the star is for the decoration).
