The place was nice and the staff was welcoming , mule drink is the bomb - highly recommend thatShrimp quesadilla was my personal favorite.
The atmosphere is fantastic. Service is phenomenal. Guacamole was so delicious. The Carne asada tacos were to die for. You must have the key lime pie also!
Our son suggested this and said we needed to try their Paella. Unfortunately they didn't serve it before 4 and we got there at 3. We had the cevechi and oh my goodness GOOD!. Also had the blackberry smash a d ?colada. Both very tasty. Our waitress could not have been better.
we were there for lunch last week. Fabian H service was excellent. The red sangria was also excellent The shrimp quesadilla had a good amount of shrimp and cheese and was not greasy. Well made and nicely cooked. the shrimp fajitas my wife ordered was also excellent. Unfortunatly, the beans and rice could have been a little hotter. which is why the rating is not excellent.
Fun spot, great atmosphere. (Only sat outside) live music was good and the food was great. Absolutely amaizing fresh guac. Plantains we're cooked perfectly.
We visited here a couple of days ago for a late lunch. The food was nice and fresh, good Guacamole and my Mojito was very good. The service was nice and friendly. We would recommend. The only bugbear was that they did charge for one small flour tortilla hubby ordered so he could finish the filling left over from his taco main. All in all, a nice lunch though.
We went for dinner. The ambiance is nice, especially if you sit outside, however the patio areas are crowded. We were seated inside which was not as fun. I would say this is a good patio drinks place, but the dinner was expensive and underwhelming in our opinion. I ordered a soup which was served warm not hot. A salad we ordered never came out. Cerviche was fair but both the Cerviche and the Guac were a bit bland. My husband had Quesidia which was pretty basic, we do a better one at home. Nothing special food wise here, but again a nice spot for a drink and bar snack probably. Expensive as you would expect in a touristy place.
Delicious Mexican food in the heart of old town. The mayan soup can not be beat nor can the tacos. And don't forget the margaritas. Friendly staff in a fun venue.
Had lunch here. I really enjoyed all the different flavors of the food. Our waiter Daniel was a real Gem. Love that there wasn't a wait when we showed up and we're seated right away. I look forward to my next trip to St. Augustine; Casa Maya will be on my list to visit again.
Full disclosure, my wife and I stumbled into Casa Maya because OC White’s didn’t open until 4:00. We lucked into a great situation. St.Augustine is known for sangria but Casa Maya serves the very best we’ve tried. So fresh and served with a top of their blackberry jam. Wow! Don’t use a straw because you will miss the aroma as you drink. We’ve traveled across Latin America where ceviches rules supreme and Casa Maya offered not only an authentic taste of what we’re accustomed to but surpassed any we can remember. We also had the Pibil pork tacos which were top shelf! Their house hot sauce was hot but so great on the tacos. Our server Jazmine was a treat with great service and personality and the manager Favian took time out to come explain the fresh ingredients of the epic Sangria. We left our meal with a reason to not only revisit Casa Maya but we were able to justify traveling to St. Augustine for this amazing dining experience.
