Absolutely delicious food! We were there for lunch and it was wonderful. This was our first visit and when we are back in this area, we will be back.
The different chair types at each table really bring it home for me. We came in about 20 minutes to close and they didn't even blink and were very professional. The best Italian I have had in St. Augustine, FL. My wife said the egg plant parm with to die for. I had the cheese ravioli and Italian sausage, I cannot say enough good things about it. My only complaint is that our waitress ALISON hit on me right in front of my wife. JOKING!!!!!!! Alison was so professional and made us feel like part of the family. It was like a home experience. You absolutely must eat at the restaurant. Delicious!!!!!!
Wonderful atmosphere and fantastic service. Our server JoJo was very attentive. Nice size portions and absolutely delicious! Never felt rushed during our meal. HIGHLY recommend. Definitely going back to try other dishes.
While I was in St. Augustine visiting I was wanting Italian food (go figure) and I found this wonderful restaurant that reminded me of home!! I was raised in a Sicilian household in Southern California and you can't find Sicilian food unless your Mama makes it!! So when I saw they had Arancini (rice balls) it became my mission to l Iocate them! Not only was the Arancini exactly the way my Mama used to make it, so was their specialty Caponata!! It taste reminded me so much of the way my Mama used to make it, it brought tears to my eyes in remembrance. Carrie was our server and both her and the owner were delightful!! I highly recommend!!! If you go say Ciao!!
This was our first trip to St. Augustine, Florida. We went to Casa Benedetto’s and it was amazing!! Restaurant is not big but cozy. Our server, Carrie was wonderful! The food was so very good from the Italian bread to the cannoli. The chicken Marsala was delicious. The meal gets a five star rating! If you like authentic Italian food this is the place. It is family owned and the family has been in the restaurant business for generations! Don’t miss this gem!!
My husband and I walked into this family owned restaurant last week and had an amazing meal. The atmosphere was friendly, warm and inviting. Our waitress, Carrie was such a pleasure and the food was excellent. We will be back:)
First time visiting this restaurant. So glad we did! Laid back vibe when coming in and the tables were appropriately adorned with white linen. Mareka was our server and extremely helpful to us in selecting one of the specials. Very attentive throughout the evening. We had the lasagna, Grandma Betty's manicotti, the Sicilian Meat Sauce w/ penne, and Alfredo. The wife had the special which was shrimp and crab in a pink sauce over pasta. Everyone at the table agreed the special was the winner of the night, although everything we had was delicious. This was one of those rare occasions nowadays where you get perfect service and food. We had a party of 8 and the wait staff treated us great. The food was diverse and every dish was thoroughly enjoyed. The pork chop special was " THE best pork chop I ever had ". Highly recommend
First visit to Benedettos and it was a pleasant surprise. First off the wait staff and owners are top notch. Courteous, friendly, efficient and knowledgable. The cuisine is what I would classify as italian comfort food and there are quite a few places between st augustine and jacksonville that fill that void. Only casa benedettos I found to be one of the best. Items we tried included chicken francaise, ravioli with meat sauce, sausage & peppers, & chicken marsala. Let's not forget the fresh baked bread which was outstanding. To a person everyone enjoyed their homemade Italian dish that I would put up against any other Italian eatery. Plenty of parking in this strip center as well. Inside and outside dining. No liquor license so it's beer and wine only. This would be our new go to italian restaurant.
It was our first time at Casa Benedetto’s and we loved it! The food was amazing and Carrie was the best waitress! She helped us decide what to order, and she nailed it!
