Its a total regular bar so if youre a tourist I would not recommend it. Excellent wings but a lot of trashy people in there! Its kinda sad! Good ol boy world if thats what youre looking for. These people coming in look like they washed up on shore from a pirate ship! ??
We came for lunch and sat at the bar. Sara was terrific and gave good suggestions. I had the Island sandwich and waffle fries, my wife had the chicken bacon avocado ranch salad. Both of our dishes were great. Mostly a local croud. Yes there are some flies, but not really more than you would expect next to the water. Definitely worth coming
We randomly picked candlelight, and we're so happy we did. Great food, big portions, super friendly service and atmosphere. Will definitely be eating there again when we come back to St Augustine.
Great wings. The bartender recommended Datil pepper mixed with garlic warm sauce, not something I would have picked on my own, and it was amazing. Broccoli bites were great as well, as were the fried banana peppers. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
This was a late night order 11:30 PM as the kitchen closes at 12 PM midnight.The food was fantastic! Hot, fast and very good for late at night. We ordered wings (they come with celery and dressing), calamari and 2 Candlelight burgers-one with waffle fries and one with sweet potato fries. Again, outstanding!Would have given a 5 star but when placing the phone order I was asked if I wanted mayo, mustard and ketchup for the burgers and plates, forks and napkins. Yes please and thank you was my response to each question but we did not get any of that. Not even napkins. :(I can get past no plates or forks but no napkins?? :(Oh, and order was $87, tipped $20, on a pick up order, no one really waited on me, to get back to the room and realize.... :(**Does the cook receive most of that tip? :o
Went in way before closing time and tried to use their restroom. Bartender yelled at us that it cost $10 to use the restroom. We said okay and then she walked up to us and said they are not a public restroom and we had to buy a drink to use it. We agreed and she immediately said they were closed (they were not closed). Extremely rude and disrespectful. There was an entire table still there. They all seemed to be her friends. Don't go here for the bar! Kindness costs nothing
A walk right across the street from a very cute well priced hotel, they have a fried green tomato BLT that is TO DIE FOR, it was SO good. And the waffle fries were stellar, they even kept pretty well over night. I didn't actually go in the place to check it out cause I was super tired but my boyfriend said it deserved 4 stars, so I figure it really deserves 5 haha. He was excited about the pool tables.
The wings here are just down right delicious! Also, check out the Cheesy Dank Bowl! It's Mac and cheese with chicken chunks flavored with your choice of sauce! Add to that the chill vibe, big screen TVs and some adult beverages you've got a great place to hang with friends. A local favorite! ??
Service friendly but on the slow side considering they weren’t busy. The food was the worst we had in two months of travel. Seriously, how can anyone not make a decent BLT? It was cold tasteless and smushed down. Fried banana peppers were cut crosswise rather than lengthwise, had so much breading that they were tasteless too. Never again.
This place is amazing. Beer selection is great,food was delicious we sat at the bar and the bartender was very knowledgeable of the craft beers and also their menu. This is a have to stop if your ever in the area.
