I have never been so compelled to write a review about a place as I have with cafe eleven. The gentlemen working were understaffed, as there were only 3 guys working between the kitchen, front, and bussing tables, however this did not negatively affect anything. They politely informed us that they were only serving the breakfast buffet option this morning because of it. (Buffet style breakfast spread? Yes please!) $14 plus a tip to eat which is a pretty good value if you ask me. The buffet was everything you could want and more: eggs, bacon, French toast, waffles, biscuits and gravy, home fries, fruit, pastries, etc. The cook even came out of the back once the buffet opened and worked a short order grill where you could get omelettes and pancakes to order. The food was delicious everything tasted so good. The atmosphere was incredible with 50s Frank Sinatra playing over the speakers. Bonus points to these guys because there were eggs on a buffet style serving line, and the eggs were not powdered eggs. My only regret with this place is that I didn’t come in hungrier. All around great experience and I will be back for more.
DELICIOUS! Every time my family comes to St. Augustine we have to hit this place at least twice. It’s just as good if not better each time.
Nice place to have breakfast on a weekend. The buffet is great have good options. Also a station to order omelet and pancakes. Varieties of drinks, the staff really sweet and attentive
Better than I expected. It’s a really nice place, the inside looks a little weird. And it’s weird how you order at the counter. But food is great. I love that they have plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. Plenty of options for everyone. Great drinks also. Definitely recommend for everyone, especially vegetarians and vegans.
We eat at cafe eleven frequently, with my crazy schedule we've never made it to brunch. Being that it was our first time I was super excited. I am a vegetarian, and enjoyed the breakfast thoroughly. I had overnight french toast, feta/spinach scrambled eggs, potatoes, watermelon, and cheese grits! The grits were not great, but I'm comparing them to my dad's and that's not fair to anyone ?. Overall, good price for a good selection of food. Probably not much to eat for someone with gluten allergies.
Like most beach places Cafe 11 is convenient to a dozen hotels and the young people just want a pile of food. Or in this case, a pile It was really bad We went to the Cafe 11 for Saturday brunch, on June 11, 2022. Most brunch places have eggs to order. Not here! Only cold scrambled eggs in a buffet pan. They make "omelets" though. I ordered a cheese omelet. Enough cheese to choke a horse and dries crispy eggs. My wife ordered pancakes. She received Sticky Crispy discs of some unknown substance. Even the potatoes were horrible. This place needs to either end their "buffet" or hire a cook. At $14 it wasn't cheap either.
The breakfast buffet offered many options, and all were delicious. We appreciated all the options offered for omelets and pancakes. The service was fast and friendly. We ate outside and an employee frequently checked on us and cleared dirty dishes. Will definitely return for breakfast.
Went here for my 1st time on a Sunday. Had their breakfast buffet. Was very good! They had a station where a cook was making fresh to order omelets and pancakes. He did a fantastic job and they were delicious.
When we were there for breakfast, buffet was the only option. The selection was ok, not a lot to pick from. However, the food that was available, was fresh and very good.
The food was good. I personally didn't like the breakfast pizza since the gravy overpowered the flavor. But it was a good size for the cost. The smoothie was delicious. Recommend it to try out.
