The UFO is the best sandwich ever! I can't say anything about the other menu items because I always order the UFO. I just love this place.

My family of 4 (2 adults, a 10 yo, and a 6 yo) ate here for lunch on 4/5 during our Spring Break vacation in the Saint Augustine area. My wife and I got the UFO, which was unique and very tasty! Mine was the shredded beef with pinto beans, served baja style. My wife got the chicken with refried beans and “the works”. Both of our kids got the kids chicken tacos with tortilla chips, which they both enjoyed! The seating is a bit small (along with the rest of the shop), but it works and adds to the charm. This was a great find for us for lunch!
1st of all it is got the typical Florida laid back attitude, Visiting there from the horrible marxist Boston area it is such a refreshing thing to walk into.. Most of the year I would pay just to get that service much less the great quality food.. And the tacos were authentic and awesome, the burrito bowl was out of this world and guacamole was absolutely perfect. One of the reasons why I want to move down to Florida. Great food great people

Our expectations were low and our satisfaction was high when we entered this unusual storefront. From the menu I wasn't quite sure what a UFO is so I ordered it. I'm still not sure what it is but I loved it! Super satisfying and so delicious. Great selection of beverages- as someone who doesn't drink alcohol my choices are usually limited to soda so I was thrilled to have all kinds of options. I was tickled to be able to chose grapefruit and bee pollen kombucha. Totally made my day and I may have to visit St. Augustine again just for the yumminess of A1A Burrito Works Taco Shop!
We had about 20 minutes for lunch before heading to a tour so we stopped in, and I'm so glad we did! The employees behind the counter were fun and friendly and we had the most delicious soft tacos and bowls.
I was getting claustrophobic and uncomfortable at first but once we were able to get our order in the place cleared a little.THE TACOS WERE SOOOOO GOOODDD!!My husband wasn't blown away by the UFO but it looks big and yummy. The howler monkey sauces were perfect! I tried each one on each taco and almost died but i would've gone to taco heaven. Haha so good. Definitely a good choice for those who don't want to sit down restaurant in St Augustine
Amazing food! The UFO is a must try! Recommend the UFO with pork and Baja style. Baja sauce has a small spiciness that really adds a lot of flavor! For even more spicy (hot), request habanero sauce on the side! Everything is made fresh to order and you really can't go wrong with any option here. We tried many different tacos and enjoyed most the pork and shredded beef. We found the shortest lines in the day before 7pm. Longest line was 9pm on a Friday. The staff works quickly to get your order completed. One of my best meals I've had! Get the UFO!! ?
