Restaurant would not seat our party together. We were told there would be an hour wait. We waited only to be seated and then told of the many menu items they were out of. Poor management to not have enough food ordered for vacation spot. Then we were rushed out, being told we needed to be out by nine (we were not seated until eight) and we did not even have our food yet. This place has been able to be successful due to location but doesn’t care about the service of their customers!
Try the fresh catch. Girlfriend and I tried both fish types, one blackened and one grilled and both excellent. Highly recommend for a nice lunch.
Nice place to sit on the water for an appetizer & drinks or a meal. We had the baked Brie appetizer. It was great! My husband had the shrimp basket and he said the shrimp were not tough, were fresh and not over breaded. I had a grilled chicken wrap which was good. The chicken was tasty. My mother had the nacho, which was a HUGE plate of nachos! I would recommend going here if you visit Vilano Beach!
We had reviews that pets were welcome. We arrived with our Blue Heeler Daisy and w4ere told that policy had changed and you could not bring a pet in. We had eaten there once before and enjoyed it, but we didn't have Daisy with us then. Since we now travel a lot with her, we won't be going back.
We enjoyed our dinner here. Our server was super sweet and she stayed on top of everything without hovering. They had live music. We sat on the patio. Got to watch the sunset. The food was incredible too. The Sunset Shrip is a must!
You might show up, wait an hour plus, and then get refused food service, even though you followed all direction and advice from staff. Note there were numerous open tables and google report indicated they were “less busy than usual”. This place does not accept reservations, and does not seem to respect people’s precious time. Incredible mis-management here. By the time we were turned away with no food (and mind you we had not eaten all day) all the restaurants in the area were closing. I wouldn’t waste my time again personally. Pretty sad. I can honestly say I’ve never had anything like this happen to me in the US before.
Excellent Food. Went there for lunch with Friends. They gave us 10% discount because we were just off the Red tour boat.
We wish we had found this place on our first day rather than our third. It was laid back and had a good atmosphere. While it was pretty hot outside, the breeze and abundance of umbrellas made dining outside possible. The food selection was great and very tasty. Staff was helpful in meal selection.
Stopped in after leaving Vilano Beach. We outside under umbrellas waterside near to the adjacent pier. We had the sound of waves and the tiki hut boats coming in, which was interesting to see. Drinks were just ok but the jerk chicken wings were just awesome…a bit of heat but very tasty. Service was fine.
We had no wait for a table, but unfortunately it was raining so we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful outdoor patio. Anyway, the service was friendly and prompt. I ordered the fried shrimp with a side of rice and beans and was not disappointed! I will be returning.
