I was hot and exhausted from walking all day and needed some air conditioning and a frosty beverage. Auggies was the first place I came across. You open a tab, they give you a card to put in a reader, then you pour your own drink! There must have been 25 different wines, beers, ciders, and seltzers. You get charged by the ounce, so you can have a taste and if you don’t like it you didn’t waste a whole drink. I had too much fun in this place! So much I went back later in the week before I left for home. The food was ok, Jill was outstanding!
This place is just inside the Historic area along the walking route. Place your order then grab a seat. Air conditioned. They bring the food to you. Good quality burger. We had a BOGO coupon, so it was a great value also. Friendly staff. Would definitely hit this place again.

My husband enjoys being able to try different beers, this is a great venue for this. Put your credit card on file and you have an auggies card you use at the taps. You can pour as much or as little as you like of any beer they offer. You are your own bartender! I am glad they offer wine, it is either white or red....not a big choice but if you're not into beer this is a good option. The burgers are good but a bit pricey, if it wasn't for the coupon we would have passed on getting a burger. The nice thing is they offer a Jr burger as we are not big eaters and the other burger would have been too much especially after having a little snack a few hours earlier. Well worth the stop, you won't regret it!!!

In all the trips taken to St Augustine, this place has somehow gone overlooked. Never again! The self-pour wall is amazing, especially if you're not a regular drinker and don't know what you'd like. You can pour a tiny amount, try it, then decide if you want more. The food is also very good. If you just want some good old American comfort bar food this is the place for you. Also, the datil ketchup is amazing. Staff is also great!
This place has pretty good food (the burger was amazing according to my hubby), but the self serve beer taps is where it's at! They have a small selection, but offer cider, sours, stouts, light and dark beer, and even wine. You pour how much you want, so it's a great way to sample things you might not otherwise order. This is a great place to hang out or stop by on your way around downtown bar hopping. They are dog friendly and offer water bowls and treats for your fur babies. ?
Really clever concept- go to bar, have card swiped, get beer card and pour your own beers using that swipe card- novel with loads of selection of good ales. Friend had a hot dog and it was delicious
