We were headed back to our hotel for the night when we decided we wanted a cold beer. Stumbled across Ann O'Malley's along the way and decided to grab a quick drink. Managed to get the Happy Hour deal and then found out they have Thursday night Trivia. So we stuck around and played. We didn't get any food. The kitchen looks incredible small but they were busy, for sure. The 2 guys working were fantastic. Friendly, efficient and fun. Trivia was a ton of fun and we won! The owner was there and seemed pretty hands on. Kind of a 'hole in the wall' place but we felt very welcomed and looking forward to getting back there some day (we live 4 hours away).

Fabulous pub with great live music. The bartender was super sweet and accommodating and tried to make the pub “more chic” for us because we were there as a girl’s night out.

Of the places I dined in St. Augustine, Anne O’Malley’s was my favorite. For me it was unpretentious, had a good menu and beer selection and wait staff was outstanding. It is not upscale, but if you’re looking for a low key pub with deli style sandwiches, you can’t go wrong here.

The food the Guinness and the music are a most see.

My husband and I have been coming to Ann O’Malley for years, this last April we ran off and got eloped in St. Augustine and of course had to visit Kelli. Amazing people amazing food and the owner is so welcoming and loving! We spent pretty much our whole weekend rained in at Ann O’Malley and it was perfection. We recommend to all our family and friends. You can’t come to St. Augustine without stepping into this beautiful Irish pub! ???

Great spot for soup sandwich and drinks. We have been here twice thos weekend and will probably be back super laid back great friendly staff.

One of the best little places to eat and drink in St. Augustine. Love this place

This is a small place right on one of the main roads on the north side of Old Town. It is a short walk to the fort San Marcos. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Would definitely go back

Popped in for a Guinness! Staff very friendly, Even better, I must have dropped my wallet at some point only to return several hours later to find my wallet behind the bar with the staff! Thank You guys!

We found Ann O’Malley’s in desperation while wandering the streets of overcrowded St. Augustine, seeking a reasonable outdoor sit-down for a quick bite. There were tables at ground level and about four on the old wooden porch overlooking the passersby, and that’s where we sat to consume a couple of sandwiches and pale ale on draft (even though Guinness is their specialty). It was very pleasant up there for a while, however the server (owner?) lacked both speed, personality, and grace. We waited a LONG time for our “Marty” and “Spicy Past” (actually not spicy at all) sandwiches. We could even see them sitting unattended behind the glass for 5-10 minutes, waiting for someone to finish them off with accompaniments. While the food was good, the experience was shattered by a drunken local, dressed in pirate gear, who staggered to the door of the pub and bellowed at the top of his lungs some sort of obnoxious greeting to the folks inside. Since my wife was sitting by the door to the back of this buffoon, she was completely caught off guard and nearly fainted. Not only did the owner do nothing in response to this social outcry in support of my screaming wife or her other patrons – she invited him inside to mingle. At one point, while we were still waiting on our sandwiches, the drunk was behind the bar with her doing who knows what. Later, when he came back outside to drink another beer, he literally reached his hands around my wife to grab at the ashtray on the windowsill by our table. It was hard to believe, especially since he was apparently “persona grata” at the pub. Here is a case where the food and seating area might have merited five stars on the Cherry Wonderdog scale, but the inexplicable and inexcusable experience that was allowed if not encouraged to happen by the restaurant resulted in a severe docking of three. Two stars were all she wrote for Ann O’Malley. If you go, make sure to watch out for pirates, and don’t expect anything remotely related to “good service” during your stay.
