So happy to have started a restaurant conversation with a multiple time visitor to St. Augustine. She said she had the best breakfast from Anastasia Diner the day before... she loved the eggs benedict. The next day we had to go... but ordered a much more basic breakfast. I loved my western omelet. It came with choice of grits or potatoes, hash browns or home fries, and biscuit or toast. Delicious! Others ordered french toast combo with eggs and meat. One had pancakes... everyone was very satisfied! We all started eating before we thought about a picture. So here's a couple of mostly eaten ones. We will go again! Waitress was awesome too. Met the owner and really liked him as well. My kind of place... not fancy decor, but local and delicious! PS... large glass of OJ was really large, unlike many restaurants. Lemons for my tea were beautiful and cut big enough to really squeeze, unlike many restaurants. For me, little things count. If you care about lemons for tea, how much more do you care about everything else! Great job Anastasia Diner!
We ate there this morning. What a pleasure. I can't get over how good my breakfast was. I had a poached egg dish that couldn't be beat. The server couldn't do enough for us and the coffee has to be one of the best I've ever had. The whole experience was terrific. I'm not from the area however whenever we are anywhere near, we will be sure to stop in. The Anastasia has a real down home feeling. We're so glade we visited. It made our day.
This is an authentic Diner where u can get breakfast for lunch or vice versa. Everything was really fresh and wonderful. I had a ham club which came with avacado (delicious) and home fries with grilled onions. It was perfect! I’ll be back again for sure :)
I lived here for a while and never tried it until recently. The food here is home cooking and the service was great!!! The only thing I can say is that they should write down phone numbers and call instead of giving you a number and walking to each car to see who is next. Definitely will be coming back.
The key to navigating Florida beach towns is to find where the locals eat. The tourist trap spots are flashy but crowded and the food is usually just average. This diner doesn’t look like much from the outside and there’s no flashy decor inside, but the food and service are outstanding. We loved everything that we ordered, they kept our coffees filled and the staff was super friendly. Resist the urge to walk to one of those touristy breakfast buffets. Hop in the car and make your way here. You won’t be disappointed.
This is a great spot for breakfast! Great prices and excellent food. The staff are so friendly and treat you like family. We will definitely visit again when we're in the area.
Cute little Diner. Wonderful waitress and a wide selection of food. I will say that the potatoes are super sweet and the chicken could do with a new seasoning. Other than that I'll be back to try out other menu items. I enjoyed the atmosphere and excellent service.
We have been coming to Saint Augustine and Crescent Beach area for nearly 3 decades, on and off for summer vacations and ‘weekend getaways…’ This place (Anastasia Diner) was excellent! I wish I had known about this place before but we will be back many times. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The service was friendly and professional. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but you will not be disappointed! We Are coming back in late May/early June and I look forward to bringing my other family members here for a great breakfast!
Very good service from server Rachel.Waited 25 min to get seated on a Sunday morning but well worth it. Really good eggs Benedict with sausage. Hollandaise tasted home made, as did the hash browns. Ham and cheese omelet with home fries equally delish.The place was clean and pleasant. My only negative criticism was the coffee. It was a bit weak for me, but I love it strong. They kept my cup full and offered water when we sat down.Portions were generous and pricing was fair.
