I can't imagine what the hype is all about. We bought a few items to eat in a local hotel. We waited over 30 minutes on the main line and then about 40 minutes on the food side. This would be ok if the food was great, which we were expecting. The burritos were greasy and looked thrown together. They were just plain weird, compared to a real Mexican burrito. The grease level was just ridiculous. The guy on the first line knows how to ask for a tip (which we intended on, but asking was not cool)....but doesn't spend time getting the order right. We had a lot of items, but it was a mess of wrong stuff. The wait on the second line was painless (nice people and good dogs), but the whole experience was a big fail. I can't recommend this spot. It seems part of a small local chain and we did not test other locations.
This place is one of those “holes in the wall” that’s super cozy with crazy awesome food. Love the hippie surfer vibe. Get the Mexican UFO. My son loved it.
This is a very good walk up taco stand. The steak tacos were good, the UFO was on point. The nachos were a large portion and very tasty.
I stopped in to get two grilled Mahi tacos to go Took them to my hotel and the Mahi is covered in OLD BAY seasoning which has nothing to do with Mexican food...had to throw them away Nothing on Menu on wall indicated this! Total waste of my $10 Also got them Baja style and there was basically no sauce on them ...and also nothing indicating old bay in Baja description I want to taste the fish not OLD BAY
This was our first time here. We ordered and didn't wait but a few minutes for our food. They are always bust so I decided to stop and try it. I got the sea (shrimp) burrito and my fiance & his friend got the Baja Shrimo UFO. They let you customize it however you want. No cheese no problem. No cilantro no problem. I love having the choice without feeling like it might cone out wrong. They really take their time with each customer.The food was so full of flavor. We all really enjoyed the food. The staff was friendly and helpful. A nice little place to eat outside. They give you cups for water. Cute little place. I would highly recommend trying this if you like burritos or Mexican style food.
The best food that I’ve had in St. Augustine!! WOW! The staff was so incredibly cool. This picture doesn’t look like much but holy cow it blew my socks off. The seating was chill and first come first serve. We went in the cool of the late evening. Which I recommend. All of our food was 10/10. The beer selection was great also.There’s one that has a lady with stockings on it. Sorry for not remembering the name. It went great with our Mexican Style UFO baja style with mahi mahi. Good night. So good!!!! A MUST GO!Just ask the guy what he recommends. Honestly, that’s what we did. I couldn’t choose from all the options anyway. It worked out great!!
These folks really know what they’re doing. Although it is a hole in the wall, it is well worth going and the wait. It was a Friday night, and quite a long line. However it went quickly. They have really figured out the best way to serve burritos, tacos and our favorite UFOs. I had a UFO, with the Works and Baja sauce, guacamole mahi mahi and it was delicious! Everyone else we were with also raved about their dishes. I highly recommend!
Very very good tacos. Highly recommend. I got a. Chicken UFO and chips and salsa and cheese. Good home made chips and fresh salsa. My husband got tacos and loved them. Will be going back!
Just a little place but don't let that deter you. Best taco ever, and we will be sure to stop here again when in the area!!
Beach location has Amazing food, good service, and they are quick even when crowded. The UFO burrito is amazing. I go here every time I’m in town . Even had them cater a large gathering for me from their downtown location, and they did an awesome job. Highly recommend for delicious Mexican food and a creative menu.
