It was our first time going this evening. And the food was excellent, I would recommend the shrimp tacos, or the captains platter as both were wonderful. The atmosphere was wonderful as well as along with the staff. Our server Savanah was very attentive and took care of everything greatly. Will definitely be back again soon.
We were really hoping that this place would be good this time.Our 1st experience thereI was served raw chicken. In all fairness my husband's pot roast sandwich was delicious, my entree was to until I realized the center was raw. This time they had the bearded brothers playing and they were very ill prepared to deal with the number of people. We were there an hour and a half and no server came near our table. I went to the bar to order drinks, but we wanted to order food. The neighboring table put food order in at the bar and after40 minutes their order arrived and at least one of their meals was promptly returned. Every single staff member we encountered was rude AF. There won't be a 3rd chance.
The $4 margaritas are the best! The sangria was good. My husband ordered the crab cakes and loved them. I ordered the pot roast and loved it. The coconut pineapple rice was wonderful. We will definitely come back here....alot!
Very good and way too much foodLimited menu on Sundays. They could cut back some on portions and lower price a couple bucks and make more profit.
This place has been rebranded as Lei-Lo’s Tiki Hut. Lei-Lo knows her way around the kitchen! We arrived mid-afternoon and saw quite a few cars in the lot—a good sign! My Aloha Burger was perfectly cooked, juicy and delicious. My husband ‘s Fish & Chips—ditto. 2 huge pieces of crispy cod with crunchy fries, slaw & a couple of hush puppies. Justin was friendly and made sure everything was just right. We plan to come back!

Phenomenal service Kendra. They were short staffed and she was running like crazy, but continued with great service and making you feel like you were her #1 customer.Food was fantastic ?, sitting by the water and watching the shrimp boats getting ready to head out was delightful. We Highly recommend this place. Come on by and enjoy like we did.
Short summary of the review: I would not recommend going here until it has new owners since the current owners don't care about service or how customers are treated. I would give my first 0 star review if possible. We have been going to the ZigZag Scallop for a few years now. It has always been good prior to the change in ownership. I was really looking forward to having a meal here again and trying the desserts the new owners have added since they sound wonderful. I can not speak to the quality of the food since we were never served, not even anything to drink. We were seated quickly and provided with menu's while being seated. Unfortunately, that is where the good part of the review ends. Two other tables were seated after us and the wait staff came and took their drink orders and delivered their drinks. Three of the wait staff noticed that we hadn't been served and totally ignored us. We waited over 15 minutes without being asked what we wanted to drink. On the way out, I spoke to the owner very politely and explained the situation that we just encountered. The owner did not offer to correct anything. Then it got even worse. As I was leaving from letting the owner know about the poor service, I heard someone say there is the front door and that I should use it. I turned around and went back to the owner to say I didn't appreciate that comment. The owner said I didn't say it; the customer next to me said yet. The owner didn't even apologize for the comment after the poor service. Please go anywhere but this place in Hernando Beach since you will be treated with more respect at about any place else. Please always see the other recent negative reviews on yelp and Facebook regarding how the new owners handled a chair breaking that could have seriously injured a customer and this will show you the lack of caring and the lack of ownership the new owners have for this restaurant.
Was here for the first time with my husband, grandson and his girlfriend. Loved the drinks and tasty appetizers. We each had a different delicious meal. Great service and pretty location. The new owners greeted us and where so very gracious. Will be back soon with family and friends.
Not gonna lie. As a local and have been coming here since we moved here 2 years ago. If the new ownership equals what we received tonight you won't last long. No burger toppings, barely Luke warm shrimp tacos and small sides of fries will definitely shut you down. From my last review this is being nice. We love the original food and service but this won't last.
