Definitely recommend you to get there 30 minutes PRIOR of the opening time in order to get in before it maxes out! Also, make sure to always get 30-45 minutes before the show starts because it gets to the maximum capacity really quickly. Very great prices for the tickets because it includes the riverboat, mermaids, and water slides from Buccaneer Bay! The mermaid show was great, and very entertaining! The mermaid show lasted about 30 minutes and it was well worth the wait! The riverboat cruise was very calming and relaxing place with a great opportunity to learn more about Florida and their Spring water. Lots of wildlife animals are present, fishes, turtles, birds, and even peacocks throughout the park! Also, the water is freezing in the Waterpark, it takes a while to getting used to!
Great mermaid show. The water temperature stays around 72F all year long. The whole park can be visited in half a day. You can bring coolers and foods. Very nice
Fantastic old school fun! The mermaid show is amazing! Do get in line very early as seats fill up. Make sure you bring your swim suit to take a dip in the spring! Water remains a consistent temp year round but feels cool in the summer/warm in the winter months. Give yourself plenty of time to explore.
Great place for a family day trip. You can bring your own cooler to pack a picnic lunch. The water is cold, 72 degrees year round. My kids enjoyed jumping off the dock. The mermaid show is a 1 time experience.
Spent the day beating the heat in the water! We went kayaking, and it was the best experience ever. Saw some manatees just hanging out,and we even jumped in the water with them. We did spent some time just laying around in our hammock. There's so much to do here. You can bring in your food or eat there with the mermaids. Yes I said mermaids?♀️! There's a Waterpark too for the kids if kayaking isn't your thing. Definitely worth the trip...I think we will be coming back.
Okay so where do I start.. we got there at 8:30am the line was already around the block and some people had already been there a hour. The gates opened at 9am we made it into the park at 10:25am!!! Stood in line for 2 hours!!!!!!! Why not just sale tickets online? Only sale the capacity of the park so people can come and go when they want... they were turning people away I would've been so upset to stand there so long to be turned away. Sale tickets head of time would alleviate that whole issue! Anyways after standing in line for 2 hours it was subpar at best. It was packed shoulder to shoulder. You had to stand in line and wait for everything. The river boats were supposed to run continuously and they weren't either. The mermaid show was good for kids. The park could definitely use some upgrades for what they're bringing in. By the time we made it into the park it was hard to enjoy because we were hot and aggravated standing in line for 2 hours. There's Definitely a better way they could manage that. Was it pretty yes. Was it worth the 4 hour drive, sadly no.
This was so much fun kayaking up the river. It was pretty affordable but you need to be there early and if you are renting from the park make sure you have reservations, there is no sign posted that you need them so if you don't have reservations for the kayaks you will be turned away!The whole river is a swim area and the water feels great during the summerThere's a snack boat that sells hot dogs, drinks, ice cream, etc, has good prices and super convenient to walk to or pull upto in your kayakOverall 10 out of 10 experienceDefinitely a must do
Enjoyed the kayak trip. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Saw two manatees, an owl, a hawk and a ton of fish. Looking forward to visiting again.
Took my 6 year old granddaughter to see the mermaids. The show was great and young and old found it enjoyable. True treat for all ages. The park is clean, the people friendly and the springs beautiful!!
