I've had better. For price, portion size does not seem fair. $15 for an OK margarita! But view was great and staff was awesome. And you cannot beat the view! We'll be back but not too soon.
The food was really good! We had honey barbecue wings, garlic, butter, parmesan, wings with Tom sauce. The Tom sauce was the best by far! The food was really good. Overall atmosphere was fun with a great view. Nice clean restrooms and the bar area was really cool as well with a jukebox and quite a few TVs.
Food was delicious. We were a group so some of us got platters or baskets, & sandwiches. Everyone was pleased with their meal. Covered deck has a nice view of the clear waters and kayakers & boats. Staff was attentive. As the name implies the restaurant is on a 2nd floor with outdoor staircase.
Wouldn’t go again… we were a group of 4 and despite all of us getting different items from the menu, none of us were impressed with the taste of our food. Drinks were good though. It was very quiet as we dined in about 11:30 a.m. after kayaking on weeki wachee river. The seating options (indoor or outdoor) are very nice and it overlooks the river at the part where it ends at Rodgers Park, although that’s not particularly a stunning water view by any means. Best part was the funny sign for the restrooms ? Maybe it’s better if you’re going for drinks in the evening and are looking for more of a party atmosphere, I could see it might fill up for the bar areas.
Very nice service and a beautiful view of the lake. Great for people watching. Food was very good, nice IPA selection and the Gator Bites were delicious, could have been more larger tender pieces. Will be back.
Absolutely terrible…the ice tea was nasty. When I asked to change to sprite it was a big deal. The lobster bisque was terrible. All cream & no lobster. You peel’em shrimp were old & tuff. Then we had a loud drunk behind us. Took forever to get our check & then had to hunt down our server to pay him. This will be our last time eating here.
Let's start with the Hostess who told us there would be a wait and we could wait at the bar if there were seats. Looking out on the deck from the bar, was an unoccupied two-top. When I asked the Hostess about it, she said that she didn't see it. After being seated, it took 5 min (maybe a little more) for the server to get to our table. She then went to the people next to us who had seated themselves at the little bar area, gave them menus and came back to take our drink order. It took 8 min. to get 2 beers delivered. From the time she took our order until our food was delivered, it was over 15 min. During that time, I ordered another beer. Our server walked by once without my beer about 4-5 min later. Then 7-8 min from the time I ordered, the beer was delivered. Finally, our food arrived. I ordered the Mahi sandwich, blackened with potato salad. I have lived in Florida for the last 14 years and eaten at many restaurants. I have never seen a smaller, thinner piece of fish on a sandwich, or any other manner of entree. I needed a magnifying glass. It did not even come near to covering the bun. The tomato slice was as large as the piece of fish. The first bite told me that I had made a mistake in ordering it blackened. It was so salty, that I was happy I had almost a full beer. I do not remember ever leaving a restaurant hungry, but I couldn't wait to get home to make a sandwich. I will never go to this restaurant again.
We recently visited at an airbnb down the road and on the river. 3 out of the 4 nights we were there, we walked to Upper Deck. The atmosphere, servers, bartenders and patrons were all fun and a great time was had by everyone. Everything we ate and drank was spot on. You won't be disappointed in this place. If you are coming by way of the water, there are steps on the right hand side that you can use to come up to the restaurant. Great view of the water and manatees, along with Rogers Park. We didn't meet anyone that wasn't instantly a friend. Good job, Upper Deck. We will see you again.
We went here for lunch. We had a wonderful delicious lunch with fun fruity drinks too.. are bartender/waitress, Sarah, was great! I recommend you visit this place if you're in the area. We actually pulled up in our boat, parked it and had the great lunch right there on the water
This restaurant is located on a beautiful setting. The food was good. The atmosphere is fun. Service is a bit slow and they forgot our drinks but other than that I would highly recommend this place. Our server was really nice.
