Had to hit up the local pizzeria for the kids. Well the size of the pizza and calzone could have given this place 5 stars. The taste was good but not the best. We will get it again when we are back in town.
We got the 18” chicken, bacon, & ranch pizza and it was soooo good! It’s huge, so we have enough for two more meals between my husband and I! The price was good for what it was and we will definitely be back ?
Our Youth Group choses Padulas for our go to Pizza place. Not only that, they've recently started a food truck! Serving Pizza by the slice and Italian ice! We all loved it.Padulas isn't just great as a quick stop or delivery choice for Pizza, but also a great help in our community. Jay the owner helps local business and non profits all the time. Great local business that gives back!
First off I have to say the staff was very friendly and welcoming. This was my first visit and I ordered a large pie to go. I am not one to complain about price. I prefer to pay more and be satisfied with a quality product. However it was not. For a large it was only 16”. The crust was to thick and very doughy. It was also cut into 10 pieces which was very strange. The flavor of the sauce and cheese was lacking. I do come from NY and take my pizza very seriously. By NY standards this is a 2 out of 10.
Padula’s used to be our ‘go to’ for our pizza cravings for many years. The business recently changed hands so we thought we’d give the new owners a try. These days, the pizza is pretty standard, unlike the ‘old’ Padula’s.I would have rated it at an average 3. However, they’ll get a 2 from us because the order was initially taken down incorrectly (my wife was seven feet away from me and heard me state the request correctly). ‘One extra large Supreme, 1/2 regular, no changes, the other half no mushrooms or green peppers, substituting tomatoes and fresh garlic’. Easy Peasy. I guess not. I didn’t look at the pizza when I picked it up. My bad, I guess, but one assumes…She noticed it when I brought it home. I called, asked to speak with the manager. I described the problem. He claimed his employee was correct and that I was the one in error. The previous owner had ALWAYS made good and apologized if an error was made. This happened to us personally but a few times. So I had to return the pizza and get the correctly made one. When I arrived and the exchange was made, not one word of apology was uttered from ANY three staff members present. To apologize would be acknowledging the error. How sad. Many successful business owners still live by the credo ‘The customer is always right’. Not so much at Padula’s. One thing I can promise: I made no error in ordering, I certainly didn’t want a refund…we’re not grifters…AND I had inwardly resolved to give the new owner the benefit of the doubt and continue patronizing Padula’s IF an apology was forthcoming. Their loss. We vote with our $$$ going forward.
So to celebrate my nephews Bday I called Padulas and asked if they could make their BIG pizza in the shape of a C or 2. They said they couldn’t do that but they could do it with the pepperonis! I said ok sure. So the delivery person showed up right on time (perfect) and says my manager didn’t cut the pizza so you could have a photo opportunity:) and gave us a pizza cutter. That to me was very thoughtful and it’s another reason to love Padula’s !! Thank you!! P.s I tried to save some but my dog found the left overs ;))

Had the pleasure of eating here tonight and was impressed on every level! Jay the owner is extremely nice and makes you feel right at home. The pizza was delicious!!!! PROTIP: Ask Jay about the spicy honey drizzle for the pepperoni pizza, I about passed out from ecstasy when I tried it.
Everything we’ve had here is excellent - pasta, pizzas, calzones, Stromboli, garlic knots, cake slices, everything! This is a family owned business and the owner is super nice and humble. Support your community and small business. If delivery takes a few minutes more than expected, chill out, it’s worth it and the food will be fresh no matter what. Better yet, come pick it up yourself and get a free bottle of water. Thank you!
Amazingly yummy pepperoni pizza! Awesome deal for 2 slices and a drink. Crust is perfectly pillowy with a crunch and pepperoni tastes great!
