Me and my wife usually come in to have the steak and eggs special for breakfast. It’s delicious as everything else I have tried there. The service has greatly improved since new management has taken over as well. So if you had problems there before I recommend you try them again. Also prices there are very reasonable and they give a veteran discount.
Stopped in for lunch after church on Mothers Day and was pleasantly surprised! They have quite a variety on their menu - hubby chose breakfast and loved it. I had the blackened salmon and it was good!!Service was fabulous - Devin was so nice and kept our drinks full and checked on us often. We look forward to returning soon to try more menu items - especially the well known tri-steak & eggs!
Great Mom and Pop Diner! 10 percent discount for all Veterans! The breakfast delicious! Service impeccable! Very clean diner. Priced more than fair. I have been coming there..for the pass month...and will continue visiting. Please visit ..you'll be glad you Did..rate this place 10!
100% would never eat here again. The kid's cheeseburger was ordered well done, came out rare and raw. The kid's fried chicken was a weird color with white slime on it. The fries were hot, but not even cooked all the way through. I didn't even attempt to eat my salad after seeing that. Management was present and never even asked how our food was. We paid our bill and ran out the door... hungry.
Awesome place to eat! The food is great, the staff is great!
It all started when the waiter took our orders. My father in law and I ordered omelets. They were supposed to come with a side dish of your choice, tomatoes, hashbrowns, home fries, etc and toast. The waiter did not ask us what we wanted or what kind of toast. My father in law spoke up and said do I get potatoes and can I have rye toast. He said sure if you want it. I didn't say anything, I figured the meal would just come with whatever and I like pretty much everything so that was fine. Well when the food came I got only an omelet for 8.99 plus .75 to get cheese on it (I thought cheese was what made an omelet..). I asked the waiter and he said some people don't want the sides. They are so cheap you pay for cheese on your omelet and have to ask for the sides that are included with your meal in order to get them. So I said I did indeed want a side dish and chose hash browns. They came out and they were barely cooked and the portion was a little bigger than a silver dollar. My three meat hold the cheese unless you pay extra omelet had very little meat or cheese. Everyone else in our party of four had similar experiences. The county fried steak was definitely frozen and everyone got a very sad portion of hashbrowns. There was a service fee on our check as well as the elderly man next to us and we were paying with cash. It was only a dollar something, but what was it for? We go out for breakfast every weekend and like to try new places. This is my first bad review and only because it was really really bad.
The biscuits and gravy were very good. The waitress was pleasant and very busy backing up the other server. He was a new employee and really needs training. He asked what I wanted to drink when I walked in before I was seated. He had to ask the kitchen what was on the menu. He didn’t know how to use the computer and did not total the bill. In fairness, he probably never worked in a restaurant and just didn’t know what to do. The management needs to take time to help this guy out.
So good!!!!
I usually don't post bad reviews, butI am never upset or disappointed with a breakfast meal. I mean, it's an easy thing to make, and I'm not a hard person to please, either usually. I had been here before when it was called another name, and I didn't like it. Then, I saw it had. Hanged names that ment new owners and possibly new food. Well, I was yet again disappointed. The Grits are odd, like they have cottage cheese added into it and the sausage had a kick to it (I'm not a fan of spicy food). Not to mention the fact that the waitress bussing the tables made a remark on how she doesn't understand why people choose to sit at a dirty table when there are clean ones elsewhere in the establishment. We were told to sit where we liked and we preferred to sit at that specific table. Obviously, we saw it was a little dirty still and would've waited for it to be cleaned up. On the other hand, our server was delightful and very sweet. In my opinion, this would NOT be on my list of recommendations. The quality of the food and the price paid for it, I've gotten better for cheaper elsewhere. Again, I'm sorry for writing this, and I do feel horrible for leaving this, but after change of ownership and still the same service, I felt it needed to be addressed.
First time there after new management had bfast was good m watch out they get u in cash verses debit card. I felt like I was at the mobile gas station. . Price went up about a dollar for using card.
